No E3 day 00 podcast?

Ever since the front page schedule has been on the site it's had the E3 day 1 podcast up there, scheduled for June 5. Does this mean they won't be doing a day 0 podcast that covers the MS, Sony, Ubi, and EA conferences on the 4th like in years past?

I'm sure they haven't planned that far ahead yet. The podcast on the coming up box just a placeholder thing they put on there to stop the site layout breaking when there aren't any events scheduled on there.

@MattyFTM: Whoa wait... do they really do that to stop things on the site from breaking? I just though it was something fun they wanted to continue after they had the end of star wars galaxies thing like 5 months in advance?

It's not really "broken" as such, but there's a massive gap there that makes the site design look bad. Dave told them to always make sure there is something in that box so the layout doesn't break. So they stuck that there.

I'm sure there will be, day 00 is when the most significant announcements are made, I'm sure the guys won't just leave us hanging. They probably weren't thinking too much about actual logistics when the placeholder was put in the 'coming up' box back in december.

There has to be a Day 00 Bombcast. They can't not do one! Last year they even did a Day -01, though they didn't put that up as an official Bombcast on the site.

In years past, I seem to remember the Day 0 podcast appearing very late, and also recorded as such. Therefore I think it would be tough to schedule a time for it.

It also probably looks better for more casual fans. People reading this who are just getting into video games may think "day zero? What does that even mean?"

The E3 Day 1 podcast has been there forever, just a placeholder, I hope. We need as many E3 podcasts as possible!

I hope so. If not a podcast then a video where they discuss the major points of the press conferences. I think they did that last year.

Fuck, June 4th is, like, 5 days away.

Just going to post this. There will be one, stay tuned! Today seems like it was unusually busy compared to any other one given day of recent E3s. Jeff apparently won't initially be there for the live cast because of yet more ongoing stuff.

I expect a lot of <> and <3 in chat! Love show!

@ShadowConqueror: E3 does not officially start until noon PST tomorrow. Today is Day Zero.

Day 0 is Press conferences. That's today. The show has not opened yet and they have not had any appointments. That's tomorrow, Day 1. Day 2 is the 6th, Day 3 is the 7th.

Didn't they go a e3 day negative one podcast or something one year? (on the sunday after they got into the house)
