Podcast: "waiting for it to show up on iTunes."

I'm waiting for the podcast.

Recently it shows up on the device itself instantly - no more need to update in iTunes on PC.

iTunes is indeed for jerks but it's a pretty good way to organise your podcasts.

Why is it that all the other Whiskey Media podcasts go up almost instantly after they're recorded but the Bombercast needs 24hrs?

@Sander: Editing, I would assume.

@MasturbatingestBear: The other podcasts don't need editing? Even if they need less editing, I don't see the bombcast benefiting from the 5 times(at least) amount of editing time.

Well I think that is more of the topics they tackle. I think they all just schedule their times so they don't overlap each other. And I assume they pick a set date, Tuesday, so it gives them some free time to edit, but also so they know when it goes up so they know if they are breaking any embargos or anything. Just a guess.

 @MasturbatingestBear: @Sander: The show goes up Tuesday because that's when games come out. The show was recorded on Tuesday originally, but that stopped because "nothing would get done on Tuesday".

I can't be arsed. Have puppies instead.

I use Instacast and readding the RSS feed worked for me, but there's some weirdness now where the episodes are in reverse order, so it thinks the older podcast episodes are the new ones and the oldest one available is actually todays.

Anyone else getting this?

sup YALL. Anyone have doggcatcher on android? it hasn't been updating since the change. it gives me an error that says the feed does not exist?

Ive been using BeyondPod and it hasn't updated since the change also

Did they just change the rss url? Seems like problematic thing to do.

I'm trying to update the bombcast through Apple's less than stellar Podcast app on my iPhone and it crashes every time.When I look up the Bombcast in the iTunes store it no longer has it's own thumbnail picture, nor does it give me any list of episodes.

It seems iTunes is choking on the rss.

@darklingscribe: exact same problem over here. Anyone recommend an alternative way to download it on an iphone?

I dunno what's up dudes. Its like its not even on itunes anymore and shows me no episodes.

@dominoid: I just downloaded it from GB directly and added it as a song in a playlist until the RSS fixes itself. You can right click the track and "get info" > options > media kind, then make it a podcast if the misclassification bugs you. But that seems like overkill, as the problem should fix itself in time.

So from now on we wont be able to go to itunes and download any episode we want?

Using doggcatcher on android and I am having the same issues as everyone else. I don't want to get the new shitty RSS feed that only has the past like 10 episodes, is that my only option?

I did all these thing, un-subbed and re-subbed, and can't find the bombcast shows up on itunes as having no episodes and doesn't work on the iPhone podcast app or Downcast, a third-party podcast app.

Gods! What is this terrible moble device bombcast-less universe I have been thrust into!
