Predictions for the Northie for 2011? - Bombcast

How can it not be Portal 2? He's over half the voices in that game. And the Space Sphere was a standout.

For anyone who doesn't know, Nolan North is the voice of every sphere in Portal 2 that isn't Wheatley.

Portal 2 for sure. I laughed so hard when I figured out he was in Portal 2, I started hearing it in the defective turrets, and then the Adventure Sphere left no doubt in my mind.

As much as I loved Deadpool in MvC 3, that is more due to the writing. And in Portal 2, his voice is all synthesized. So I gotta go with Arkham City for the wtf moment during the credits when I noticed he was the Penguin.

It's hilarious how two of the games I have sitting on the table ready to play next feature Nolan North.

I have just now learned this. That goddamn Troy Baker sounding so much like him. As much as I like him as Drake (how could you not, still one of the best characters in gaming if you ask me).

But Portal 2 really showed off his range as a voice actor, I mean you have the Fact Sphere, Adventure Sphere, Space Sphere and the Defective Turrets, I couldn't believe it when I saw it was him doing them,

So definitely give it to Nolan North, he deserves it this year, lots of tough competition, particularly from Nolan North, I mean going up against such a master of voices is tough but to come out top is incredible and worthy of award.

He should win for Uncharted, but not as Drake. He should win for the agent that tries to shoot Young Drake. Just because trying to kill the younger version of yourself should get you bonus points.

The Penguin is the least Nolan North-y performance this year, and probably deserves it.

I do think his work as Deadpool is pretty phenomenal, though. That's where my heart is.
