If they do do (heh, do do) another Endurance Run, it should be a game that they want to do, rather than what the community demands. Or it'll suck.
Also, SotC, while being a fantastic game, one of my absolute favorites, is really not up to much humorous comment. There's only so much you can do with 'wow that guy's pretty big' and 'man this environment is empty but amazing what's up with that'.
I bet the Bombcast Krew are sick of hearing about Endurance Runs. I imagine they are flooded with suggestions. Personally I hope they announce they will never do another Endurance Run just to read the angry post because it would be more interesting then the flood of membership related threads.
It has to be a game they haven't played before. SotC is something you need to be controlling and experiencing yourself. There's not much to talk about through the game. It can't be that entertaining for the 2nd person on the couch, let alone the viewers.
Can we not start up Endurance Run threads? All they ever do is piss off users on the site and I'm sure the staff are sick of hearing, "What are you doing for the next ER?"
You can't do that game as an endurance run. Personally, I haven't watched those that much. But I can tell, for a fact, that'd definitely not a game they'd choose to play. They already know so much about the game it'd be pointless to them. Plus, they could beat that game in a few hours. I don't think they'll be doing another one though, and if they do, it'll have to be a new game that has a decent length to it so it can go on for a while.
Not that we'll get another one if you keep pestering them about it. Just be patient. It was about a year between Persona 4 and Deadly Premonition, after all.
Personally I think SotC is one of the greatest games of all time and probably my favorite, but it wouldn't make for a good ER nor would it be funny enough.
Shadow of the Colossus is one of my favorite games ever, but no. Its just not good for an endurence run, plenty of traveling where im sure they would get lost and we would spend many episodes finding bosses.

This just in: New endurance run for annual members only. This would clearly solve the problem.
1. The guys will play what they want to play when they want to do it. Stop pressuring them. 2. SoC, while a lovely game, doesn't provide much in the way of confusion. It wouldn't be hard to them to beat a colossi each update rather easily.
