Wait what!?!
The Bombcast is/was at its worst when...
I voted for C not because it's bad, but because it's the most known quantity going in and the least funny things happen in them..... I also don't like when they shit on Kingdom Hearts.
The "what have you been playing" conversation that never seems to end on the majority of episodes (especially during the fall-winter) is the worst. The fucking WORST. Listening to the asinine amount of LA Noire talk that happened last year after that came out caused me to stop listening for a while. You'd get literally 90 minutes of talk about that fucking game on multiple episodes.
Conversation like that is not the least bit interesting and (not that this is the main intent of the podcast to begin with) it makes listening to old episodes unbearable.
Then on top of that, the fucking retarded community votes "guest appearances" as the current front runner? Yeah, sure. Because "Michael Cera is....Halo" and the Sherlock Holmes 6 talk was so bad, right? If you're talking about Hilary whatsername, then fine. But having guests in makes things much more interesting, especially because they do it sparingly.
Whenever they talk about boring-ass MMOs. Found myself falling asleep and waking up again during certain bombcasts.
I only picked beverage tastes because that was before I started listening. Also kind of bad that guest appearances are winning, don't think that would make people outside of the bombsquad want to go on it

K. When they talk about arcade machine minutia for half an hour.
Ok, actually, I choose this too.
"News of the World, Industry talk and the discussions/predictions/debates it creates"
news coverage on podcast bores me quite often. it rarely leads to insightful discussion and is mostly just cynical jokes thrown around, wild predictions that don't make any sense or useless negativity.
all the other stuff is fine (though I'm glad the beverage tasting is gone)
I generally like Bombcast, and cannot really say there is an episode I dislike. Although I think game podcasts in general should have the people work out the "what have you played" bit before going live. Just to reduce the: What have you played? Answer: Nothing. Its such a frequent result, maybe greater than half the time, and would be better off dropped (although certainly understandable, its a bit scary how a "free" weekend can go by with 0 gaming due to misc house keeping).

I can't believe people prefer them talking about games than other stuff. Wrong podcast duders, wrong podcast.
Agreed. Especially during the Summer months, when I'd rather hear (genuinely) an hour long discussion about what Jeff or Ryan did at the weekend instead of someone talking about an obscure XBLA title they tried.
All of those things on that list are great (as long as there's a balance and we don't get an entire podcast about drinks for example).
I don't like when they have guests on because having someone on usually makes them want to talk about specific things and it keeps the conversation way to grounded and focused. My favorite part of the Bombcast is how random it can all be.

a certain guest speaker who popped up around E3 a few times.... made the bombcast terribly annoying to listen to.
This times a million.
News of the world because I've usually already read about all the news that week. Not that I dislike it, it's just the part I like the least.
Also, random tangents and all the non-game stuff is the best part by FAAAAAAR. That's what the podcast has always been about and if it ever changes I'll have a mini-riot at my computer desk.
