I'd say the 9-11-2012 bombcast is the best one because of the Bad Boys and Pizza talk. Also lets not forget the birth of China Don't Care. What do you guys think is the best bombcast?
This guy's cracked it.
Specifically though, the bombcast is pretty consistent. Seems to be better when they're not talking about Games, for some reason. Either when they're not or when they get real fucking in depth on games, something Patrick has brought to the table recently which makes me very happy. A lot of the more simple qualitative what have people been playing segments are the worst bits. It's why the GOTY podcasts can be both the best and the worst casts to listen to, because sometimes they get really in depth and listen to everyone's arguments and it's this excellent debate where the winner doesn't even matter, or it's 45 minutes of the same thing being said over and over about Minerva's Den and Shadow Broker.
The only legitimate answer to this question is the do-over episode from 12-09-2008, in which a full 2 hours of podcast was lost and the crew returned to re-record it, Vinny recalls old jokes that only 3 other people get and Jeff speaks about mission based boating. There's a slalom related guest appearance, a talking robot, it's just the best ever.
I couldn't even tell you. It's not usually about the episode per se, but rather the moments within those episodes that are the things to remember and those moments are far too numerous to list.
Yup, this. Though when it comes to some of my favourite bombcast moments, their Transformer movies talk, drunk Michael Ironside impressions, Duke Nukem impressions during the DNF talk, and the Marcus Fenix impressions--I'm seeing a pattern here--often spring to mind first. Oh, and I remember really enjoying their talk about Assassin's Creed being set in Jerusalem during the time of Jesus.
All of the user-made animated bombcast excerpts are pure gold too.
I think the Bombcast as a whole is the best one.
Is that good for a non-answer?
Also, if anyone could help me, I'm trying to remember the Bombcast episode where Johnny V tells the story of how he was hired at Midway, but I can't find it/don't remember much else. I don't believe it's in his first episode either.
