Why does GB keep the oldest podcasts in the feed alive?

I've known one podcast, was a video podcast, that took off the old videos to sell the series as a collection later. That annoyed me.

Because everybody else is doing it wrong... unless other those podcasters make money by selling access to the archives, like WTF with Marc Maron and a number of others. If you're not selling access to your old podcasts, you should keep your archives available.

I love going back to the archives personally. I'd be pretty pissed if they were removed.
