I HAVE A WISH FOR THE BOMBCAST!

Welcome to my Blog folks,

This is just a quick little blog to discuss a great wish I have for the fantastic Giant Bombcast, now I might need to explain this a little and it might be for my entertainment only. But how great would it be if Jeff, Ryan, Vinny and Brad did an entire Bombcast in their English ascents. With the recent unveiling of Project Natal at E3 and of course the now infamous Milo demonstration from Lionhead Studios, it seems to be a weekly event to hear the group do their amusing British ascents to portray Milo. Now I might be the only one who would get a kick out of this, but I would love to hear or see such a thing. Imagine Jeff trying to talk serious videogames with his portrayal of Milo. Thinking about it, it would probably get a little old rather quickly. So maybe wishing for it to be attempted in a full Bombcast is a little to much, but I'd really enjoy hearing a dedicated segment where the crew had to use their English ascents.
Milo, an ever popular comedy topic on the Bombcast.

Some of you will think it's a rather stupid idea, and it probably is. But everyone as a wish, my wish just as to do with a group of American gamers doing English ascents while talking about videogames. Not a bad wish I think. Now some American users on here might not find it very funny and maybe you do have to be English to find their ascents quite a laugh, especially considering they sound as if they've just been taken from 'The Railway Children' film of old. Now funnily enough the only folk I have heard who sound anything like Milo are either in Harry Potter films or in old classic children films of old. Maybe that could be due to where I live, but it's just one of the reasons I find this whole Milo project kind of fascinating. That's it really, it's a wish and maybe some smart user out there will do something creative with their English ascents to create a rap song or slightly disturbing video. We'll wait and see.

Thanks for Reading,

:) I wonder if they could maintain it for very long.  It's rough without some exposure to remind you what the accent sounds like :)

I'm pretty sure they'd get sick of it after a few minutes, but there's no shame in hoping! :)

Haha the GiantBomb British accent is HILARIOUS. Jeff's is the closest in my opinion. Even though no one really talks like that over here.

Yeh, if Ryan walked down the street in England talking like he did in the Harry Potter quick look.... lets just say he would have problems with passers by.....

(Should point out that I still found it hilarious)

Stereotypes are so funny though. Don't you think it's hilarious how people think us Brits wear top-hats and sit in giant country estates eating crumpets surrounded by fog.

I love sterotypes. I think they're really fun. I don't understand why people get annoyed by them.

This needs to happen just for the fact that I don't think they'd be able to keep it up past 5 minutes, hah.

Ah I lost mine =(
They make me wonder if they're being serious, when they do their impressions everyone of us sounds super up market like we all have butlers, it's funny non the less.
Although they shouldn't because I prefer the Milo voice they have going as oppose to their straight up English accent.

I'd love to see them attempt a thick Scottish accent instead of an upper class Englishman.

Did anyone else used to make "posh pizzas" out of crumpets when they were little?

Yeah why not, it would be good fun,

I like the way Ryan says Motorstorm in his British accent.

Never, the tomato sauce would fill the cavities making it really soggy and nasty I imagine, but who cares when your little right...

First I have heard of this childhood practice in all my years.

Meh, try living in the US for a couple of years. Trust me the really stupid questions and fake British accents lose their charm after a while.

The funny thing is that most Americans aren't actually aware that English people don't sound anything like the fake accents they put on. Its a bit like an English person being completely convinced that everyone in America sounds like a complete southern hick Yokel.

I mean who the hell sounds like Ryan's Milo accent? I have lived all over the UK and still NEVER met anyone with that accent. Sounds like something from Mary Poppins. Coupled with the complete unawareness of other countries I cant see encouraging them to do MORE of it as being a good thing.

Yes its hilarious laughing at the silly Americans making themselves look funny, but it gets old FAST when you learn they aren't all being ironic.

They should try to maintain their accents while eating Swedish candy.
