These type of threads are always pointless. Whenever people have a problem with GiantBomb, everyone is pretty like "What are you talking about? It's perfect."
There were also threads like this before, and everyone else's opinions are the same, "there's nothing wrong with it, it's perfect."

C'mon people.. Whats wrong with you all.. Are you just afraid that this community will bash you to death if you just give your honest opinion. Every time someone complains about giantbomb everyone else says "This site is perfect..this.. that..what are you a fucking idiot?".. There should be some negativity regarding this.. not everything done by GB is cool.. Although I agree Quick looks are awesome..
And regarding bombcast.. its just mere randomness.. no structure in it(dont know now.. i used to listen it few months back).. I am not one of those GS lovers trying to give my opinion but I'd prefer GS Hotspot over Bombcast anyday just because it has some interesting segments especially like Correction/Retractions and all within generally 90mins which is the ideal length. This is just my opinion and I know I would be bashed to death by others.
P.S: This thread is pointless beacuse the bombcast is perfect and GB is created by Jesus.

I have a tone of fun listening to the bombcast while I'm achievement hunting or something. I wish it were longer, or that they do one more than once a week. Compared to Invisible Walls, 1UP Listen-up, Gamespot Hotspot, and the Ign podcasts, I think the bombcast is by far the best.

You had the right to say what you where saying until you said "Average listener". Seeing from the replys on this thread, it would seem the average listener doesn't think it's too long. Myself, I wouldn't mind mics on, all the time, with live streaming... ok that's too much. Still, I enjoy a good two hour bombcast.

What I think is that it has real content and is very interesting listening to it. But come on guys, is a podcast not a "randomcast", you can talk all of that in 60-75 minutes no problem.

Personally, I love the Bombcast as it is. And it does have structure. It follows pretty much the same format everytime.

I think that's everything. Sometimes they get a little sidetracked and spend a lot of time on one thing, but that doesn't really bother me. I don't really have a hard time finding two hours to listen. And no, I don't care what the 'community' thinks.

I guess I just drive a lot, because I only listen to the bombcast in the car, and there are weeks I'll finish the podcast before thursday is even over. 2 hours is a perfect length: whatcha playin, news of the world, new releases, complete with random tangents woven through-out. I love the bombcast.

Well to get my opinion back into the thread the thing is that I live in a little country when you drive very little (not like the USA), I cant listen to a podcast while Im studying so I cant multitask that.
Again, I know that 99% are ok with the lenght of it but sometimes the content inside those 2 hours are like... "dude just shut up and move along".
I know this stuff because I used to do a podcast (in spanish), I dont do it anymore but the people that keeps doing it really tries to keep it under 45 min. Is really fun when you are talking about something you like, but you can get over the counter on time and that doesnt mean is equally fun for the person who is listening to it.
Thats all reallly.

I LOVE the length. And maybe you can't listen to it all, but I can and I wouldn't want them to change it. If you can't, just skip ahead or something. I love longer length podcasts, it fits my schedule well. Plus I listen for their personalities not always exactly what they are talking about. So more hours of that equals a good thing.

I like two hour Bombcasts, it works perfectly for me. I also love the randomness, this is stuff you can't really get at any of the major gaming sites. It's different. It's fun. It makes you feel like you're one of the bros and everyone is just having a good time. Yeah!

You know what the folks at destructoid.com did at their last podcast (podtoid)?
They got into the news, discussion about videogames, industry, etc.. Then after and hour and something the host said "goodbye, thanks for listening, please send us emails, etc, etc". I said "thats it", but no, they kept recording random bullshit for another 40 min just for the fun of it. That was fun. Thats the way to make a good podcast about videogames and not alienate anyone else withy inside jokes and whatever.
Take it or leave it guys, is a good idea.

Its great entertainment and everyone has time to listen, at work or working out or driving. You dont have time when you work out and drive? What? You drive to the gym around the corner and your job is down the block from your house? How long do you work out for? 45 minutes? Seriously, either you drive really fast to everywhere you go and you have a pussy workout. THe podcast is great as is.
