adblock blocking videoplayer ?

I started noticing earlier today that the videoplayer on the site wouldn't load anymore. I tried refreshing without adblock on and it seems to be what's causing the problem.

I'm not so sure this is a bug. I mean, maybe it is, but I'm not so sure they'd be all that interested in fixing it.

@chaser324: Ye, I dunno (hence the question mark). Noticed the same thing happening on Gamespot (which I know have been messing around with the player lately). Thought I'd report it just in case.

Just so the higher ups know, as it's somewhat related, the site is back to serving ugly as shit full page ads.

It is not a bug. How about you whitelist the site and deal with the adds so you can support them? Or, you know, subscribe.

Player still works for me using Adblock plus for chrome. Fuck ads.

More likely a bug on Adblock's side. I have had various sites do this lately.

Can you really say that with any authority? I'm sure the people running the site would prefer you not use AdBlock, but I doubt they'd want it to be blocking content if you were. People not seeing videos isn't exactly the way to move subscriptions.

Yes, and they usually want to stay away from large full page ads, as they have said multiple times in the past, hence why I am letting them know...

I use adblock and everything plays fines on Giantbomb. Is there any chance that you accidentally set it to block videos from giantbomb (if I remember correctly you can configure what it blocks) ?
