"Authentication Required" - What is this?

Edit: It no longer pops up anymore. Still don't know what it was for.

So recently this little window in Chrome started popping up on the site asking for my username and password (even though I'm already logged in). It seems to occur on every new page I open on Giant Bomb, but I can cancel it and it will go away. It also happens in IE as well. What is this? Is it a bug? Some authentication process I'm not aware of? A virus? I'm confused.

WTF!? Just cancel those. That's Adobe tracking and they've got a bug and I gotta go figure out what's going on. Its not nefarious (at least I doubt it is) If anyone else sees this PLEASE let me know.

Site is also really slow to load, and play buttons won't show up. It's just Giant Bomb, my connections to all other sites is normal.

I have NO idea what that is. We're looking into it.

@edgework: It may just be something on my end, maybe. I'll see if I have to mess around with some settings somewhere.

Actually, the slow-loading issue is also happening with GameSpot. Seems to be a bigger issue.
