Can't login from Android phone

So I've been watching videos from my phone (which is an htc one x) for almost three years now with no serious issues. However, since this morning, I've been unable to reach the login page. My phone tells me that it can't establish a secure connection, and won't load the page. I watch them directly from the site and don't use an app, but I came across this thread and wondered if this is the exact problem I'm facing. My phone is on Android version 4.1.1 and says that I am up to date.
