Certain user settings not stored in cookie

So I deleted all the cookies and cache just to be sure.

Once you login, set the following settings, close the page and re-open it, these are no longer saved:

1. List/Grid news setting

2. Video quality setting (if I set HTML5/HD, the next time I watch a video it will be HTML5/High again instead of HD)

This happens both in Chrome stable (43.0.2357.124 m (64-bit)) and Firefox (38.0.5).

Yeah, sorry that's a temporary thing for E3. If you're curious about why ask me. That kind of stuff will be back this week after we get rid of all the E3 fortifications.
