chat characture count post limit not correct

As of the Puppy beta stream when i was trying to post with my monthly subscription account, i could only post about half the 255 characters. The character count read correctly but it wouldn't let me post. I don't remember the highest count though.

Known issue, sorry! I think @edgework is looking into it.
