Chat problems on live stream.

Firefox 18.0.2

While watching the stream, I get repeatedly disconnected from chat, and I can't actually chat at all because there's no submit button, and hitting enter just causes a line break. Problem occurs when chat is attached or popped out.

I got disconnected and cannot reconnect to the chat either. I'm using Chrome. But I think the chat is broke for everybody right now.

Cannot connect to chat server is the error I get... both on OSX and Win7, running Chrome.

I've been having the same problem with chat since they rolled out Sea Serpent where I can't connect to the chat server at all and asks me to refresh it. No matter how many times I refresh it, it will not work. I've tried with Firefox 18.0.2 as well as Chrome 24.0.1312.57. I was actually just thinking it was a problem with the beta, but because the problem has been persisting I was going to post this.

That's the window that pops up whenever I first get to www.giantbomb.com/chat. Video works totally fine, but I've never been able to chat in the beta chat, and now just the chat. I have yet to experience a glorious poll. :(

@plaguelord238: Besides the chat server problems are you having the same problem with the actual chat box? I'd like to know if that's a commonality or if it's a problem on my end.

On Safari and I'm having the same problem.

This appears to be a common and known issue. Brad said on the live stream that "Chat is up and down" and Jeff said "Since the chat's down...."

I'm getting that problem, too.

dont know what problems they're having on their end but chat has only worked a few times for me going back to the start of the beta. I've tried Chrome and Firefox Nightly/Aurora/Beta/18/3.6.28

I was getting problems too

Normally I just get disconnected from the chat several times during a live stream, tonight I couldn't even connect. Tried on both Chrome and Firefox.
