I've had that happen in windows before, had to reboot. Something related to graphics drivers I'm sure.

@jslack: would have been from work computer (:P) so 32 bit win 7 running chrome. To be fair, reading what others have posted here, maybe it was just a zoom issue and I didn't notice. I can confirm this tomorrow. I do use the zoom features in browsers pretty often.
