Been doing some testing to look into the embiggen issue and found that Firefox isn't recognizing the flash player.

  • OS: OSX 10.9.1
  • Browser: Firefox v. 27.0
  • Ram: 8GBs

Works fine for me, try disabling any plugins you got running.

Disabled all plugins and add-ons. Also cleared cache and history. Still getting the same thing on all videos.

My default browser is Chrome but was just testing on all browsers to see if I got any errors.

@neuroticfetish: there's a big update happening right now.

I posted I was having a problem in another problem thread and someone pointed me to a twitter where some GBomb engineer said there is a massive update happening now, will cause problems.

@Rorie: maybe a post would help! sorry to ask. Seems to be affecting lots of people and is pretty mysterious.

@mrpibb: force closed Firefox then cleared all history from beginning of time. Still seeing the same error.

Also reinstalled flash to see if it was a version error. Still no luck

We use modernizr check your browser for h264 support and swfobject to check for flash support.

Flash version 10 and above should be just fine.

Just an update. Only looks like its a problem on my macbook. I'll play around tomorrow and see if i can figure out what it is.
