Anyone else having issues with video type selection in Firefox? I'm on the latest version (38.0.1 as of when I'm writing this) and seeing this happen. I checked Chrome (version 42.0.2311.152 m) and it's having no issues. Kind of annoying since Firefox seems perennially incapable of loading HTML 5 videos for me.

Hardware specs in case it matters: i7 4690K, GTX 970, Windows 7 x64.

Let me know if there's any other information I can provide.

Do you have Flash installed? Chrome has its own built-in version of Flash, whereas for Firefox I'm fairly sure you need to download and install from Adobe's website.

@orbi: @weaponboy: Yep, as Orbi says, sounds like you don't have Flash installed. Chrome is awesome because you don't have to install the bloatware that is Flash, and has it's own flash compatible api.

Ah, yeah, that makes sense. I reinstalled Windows a few days ago.
