iOS mobile site issues

I can not get the mobile site to load at all on my iPod 4th gen (though I doubt gen matters.) I have tried opening it with chrome as well as safari. The strange thing is I can usually open it just fine with Twitter's browser, I don't know why but it just allows it. Other than that the site loads halfway or more, so I think it may work, then the site crashes causing the app around it to crash as well. I was not sure if this was a known issue or if there is some kind of work around for it, hopefully it gets worked out.
