Nearly impossible to get back to beginning w/HTML5 player

I missed the first minute of the recent Ken Levine interview and found it nearly impossible to get back to the beginning of the video by clicking on the progress bar. It doesn't seem like the progress bar allows for scrubbing, just jumping to the exact spot that you click on. Eventually I found a spot to click on that would get me back to the beginning, but I tried for several minutes and was unable to get earlier than 24 seconds into the video.
