No longer being told when I am quoted.

I was just quoted in a thread and did not get a little message pop up. Not sure if it applies to having he @ for your name.

They made changes to notifications. You have to turn it back on in your settings- its off by default. At least it was for me.

My notifications still read "1", from the one guy that replied to me recently, no matter how many times I check my notifications.

I assume it's supposed to go back to zero at some point...?

Being that it's 9pm or so in cali right now on a friday night before a few people leave I expect no one will notice until Monday when they see smoke from outside their windows (because everything is on fire... but not really)

I haven't been getting any notifications for the past few days. Checked my settings and saw everything was disabled. Turned it all back on. Someone quote me to check.

It is busted for me, as well. This seems like a relatively widespread issue(at least amongst people who regularly comment). It's easy for someone to not notice, but when you're used to a few replies or quotes a day, it becomes rather noticeable.

They have indicated that the soonest they'll likely be able to get it fixed is Monday. So, we just need to hang tight.

Is it busted for everyone or just a lucky few?

ok thanks guys, figured it out. you should (unfortunately) see notifications flowing in (possibly a 48 hour backlog) in the next couple of hours. We have some bottlenecks we'll be clearing.

@beachthunder: can you click on the flag and see if a notification comes up? We knew we had a flag counter cache problem on Friday and released a quick fix, but it was only temporary and meant to update the counter every 5 min or so.
