Posting is really sluggish right now

I am repeatedly getting long, long delays between posts sending, sometimes 2 or 3 duplicates will appear too.

and when editing posts it can take close to 5 minutes at times before giving me the editing complete message. Opening another tab usually shows that the edit has gone through, just the editor hasn't recognised it yet.

@sooty: Yep, I think mrpibb's looking into it. Sorry for the trouble.

Same problem earlier today, did an inadvertent double post, then had trouble deleting one. Also for some reason I've had trouble editing after posting.

But most of all, and not to steal the subject of the first poster, I would like to know why I cannot enter chat during all the shows. I get the chat screen and the polls, but no chat.

Good stuff, on another note I've noticed that when uploading photos it'll give an error message even though the upload is successful, pretty minor but I've seen it a few times

same, there must be a conspiracy to all of this..

@sooty: Yeah, that's been an issue for a while now. Pretty sure there's a bug in for that, too.

I imagine they're fixing other bugs/streamlining the site, but inadvertently end up screwing up other features because of it.

This seems also to be affecting the wiki. I've had long waits for confirmation on new submissions recently, and up duplicate game and release entries at least twice now.

Glad it's not just me with the sluggish posting and double posting.
Sometimes I hit "Post Reply" and it just gets stuck in like a loop with Johnny V and his lovely face coming back, then leaving me over and over again.
Once it's finally done with that, I have double posted. Now if I shut the tab down before the looping of Johnny Vs has ended, I only post once.

I don't think it's just posting; pretty sure the sight in general is sluggish, too. Whenever I upload images in bulk, there's a very good chance the bar will fill to 100%, linger a bit, back up to a lower percentage before deciding to upload for real this time, and leave me with a lot of duplicate images I have to get rid of.

Cool, i thought this was just happening to me on my end.

Not only is it really sluggish for me but sometimes it won't post at all and it even deleted my post twice when I went to edit.

Little tip to stop the double posting hit the refresh when posting is loading the page will reload and fix .
