I've been experiencing this problem since the new video player has been launched, and this occured on all three laptops I've used.
On a 100% scale, if I adjust the volume between 0 - 10% I get a very low sound, which is only good when I don't want to use headphones at night. Anything between 10% - 100% puts the sound on full blast, which can be annoying. There seems to be no middle, and I can't adjust sound like I used to when the big knob gets a lil loud during live shows.
All three computers have been using google chrome with no extensions, on Windows 7 64bit laptops.
