Whenever I play a video, it seems not to be able to play in HD, even though I know for a fact that my internet speed can handle it (60mb). Also, when I set the video player to stream auto, the video seems to stutter every minute or so...

The video player's got a lot of bugs and is due to be replaced entirely by the end of the year, we hope. Sorry for the trouble. In the meantime, you might want to try hitting the "download" button rather than just playing the video; in Chrome, at least, this will stream the video as it's downloading and bypass the video player.

Can at least be something done about the horrible encoding artefacts on YT? Like the resogun video, it looks like a garbled mess. The hitching and skipping made your inhouse videoplayer unusable for me.
