Only just began noticing this yesterday, but whenever I try to load a video in progressive or watch a live show I will get audio, but no video. Streaming gives me neither; it just sits at a black sreen. HTML5 video seems to work just fine, as well as YouTube though (and no other website seems to be giving me any video issue aside from GameSpot, but you use the same player more or less, so makes sense).

This appears to be confined to Chrome. Firefox works perfectly fine across the board and IE (11) for whatever reason is coming up with the message "Please use a flash or html5 video capable browser to watch videos." I believe Flash is installed on IE and HTML5 should be just fine, but honestly, I never use IE for anything other than some work stuff, so not too worried there.

I'm using Chrome version 34.0.1847.116 m on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.

I'm more than happy to provide anything else that might help this issue.

I had the same issue, It was caused by Chrome's flash plug-in. Just go to "chrome:plugins" (without the quotes) and disable pepflashplayer.dll. You'll have to install flash separately though.

@bocam: Thanks! Will give that a try when I get home.
