I just noticed this when looking through videos. Certain videos are showing their comments counter at 0 but when you click on the video the comments are usually well above 0. I'm also using Chrome and my OS is Windows 8.
Edit: It appears it's more than just video thumbnails, some of the front page articles are at 0 too such as Guns of the Navarro and Worth Reading.
