The sudden record scratch freaked me out!
"Hey why are you guys using our engine!"
There's apparently only one Chris Burke video available on Youtube. You're totally going to Hell, if that place exists, Jeff. haha
Oh boy, I'm excited to listen to this one.
That was hella EPIC, thanks guys miss PK and Brian.
I love how Jeff just calls the main character of Persona Charlie without missing a beat.
@Ben_H said: 48 minutes in, already gonna say this is one of the best episodes in a loooong time. I think it's safe to say we all love the podcast and all, being one of the pieces of content that hasn't suffered in the CBSi move, but this line loses meaning when it's said by a half dozen people every single week. Not every bombcast can be "the best bombcast in ages," good as it is.

I'm pretty sure two of the guys from Crazy Town are dead. DJ AM for sure, and another one I think had a heart attack.
Sorry, universe. No matter how hard you try, no matter how many shit-talkers you throw in my face, I will still consider Mass Effect 3 one of the best games I've ever played.
did they cut part of the bomb cast?
lol, love that the last intelligible words of the podcast is "duck shit picninc" =D
The fade-out may be the best thing ever. Thank you, Ryan.
Dat fade. Awesome podcast!
I'm so happy to hear @Jeff bring up how people have this livid vitriol hate for Games For Windows Live cause I totally don't get it either.
After listening to this podcast about......games, I fucking heart you.
Persona 4 Arena should arrive in the morning (it better arrive) so hearing Jeff talking about the next installment in Persona being a possible "Persona 3+4" has me super hyped.
Easily one of my favorite podcasts yet,
They had a massive computer failure in the middle of recording the podcast Monday. It was so bad that Ryan had to recover what was recorded in the cache of that hard drive and record the rest on Tuesday. I don't know that they cut anything so much as got interrupted and had to start back up.
Funny about them adventure games...I jailbroke my ipad and installed scumm. They've made the touch controls for monkey island 3 so that it almost works like todays touch games. It's great. I've not played it before and it works great on my ipad.

o ok thanks for that info.
Really need to get around and play those Persona games.
@Marokai: You're kind of a pyscho, aren't you?
The more Jeff went on to remind "Guys, it's a visual novel bolted on to an esoteric fighting game" the more excited I got.
Great podcast, thank god Ryan managed to salvage it.
@Humanity: The patching processes for both the client and the games that use it are inefficient. GFWL games can't be sold in specific countries due to legal and licensing issues. Personally GFWL always fails to log me in at least once before working regardless of the game. Then there's the odd one out that just can't get it to co-operate at all.
I don't mind it and I don't condone people going apeshit over it, but I can certainly see why you wouldn't think of it as a selling point. Microsoft has very little incentive to make GFWL a more inviting platform than the 360, but I'm interested to see if Windows 8 changes that at all.
@ervonymous: I'm in the same boat as Jeff in that I've never had an issue with it. I've run across that thing they mention where you type in your e-mail and the password is already there and you can't edit it. So I had changed my password recently and was kind of at a loss as to how am I supposed to log in if every time I type in my username it autocompletes my old password without letting me change it - I just needed to say new user and it downloaded all the stuff etc.
I only played Dawn of War and Bulletstorm on it and honestly apart from logging in once and maybe updating it always worked seamless. I get logged in automatically with no prompts or anything and I'm good to go. I think I've had more problems with Steam acting wonky than GFWL but that's inherently due to the fact that I use Steam a lot more often.
As an avid XBOX gamer I actually wish, to the dismay of millions, that more games had GFWL support as that neatly ties my PC and console gaming under one profile. Maybe they could make it optional in the future - "do you want to enable GFWL support for this game?" something like that.
Is there a chunk missing at about 1h53m? It seems to go from talking about Mass Effect 3 to suddenly talking about what I assume is the Zynga vs EA Ville/Sims thing.
Hey, maybe don't edit the podcast to get super quiet and then immediately play the outro at the normal volume?
Just finished it - one of my favorite Bombcasts in a long long time! The absence of Brad and Patrick cause Vinny to have to talk so much more and it was pure gold.
@l3reak: Yeah, that weirded me out as well. Maybe they talked about something NDA and had no better way to cut it? :/ Very strange.
Sounds like you salvaged the file, great news
this bombcast was hilarious, best one in a long time.
What a weird coincidence I had Driver: San Fransisco and then after that I got Homefront from my Blockbuster online rental.
What's with that skip at 1h 53m-ish? They go from wrapping up a ME3 conversation to the middle of an EA/Zynga lawsuit conversation. This podcast should be even longer! We've been cheated!
Whoah WHOAH! Did Jeff call "Broken Sword is terrible"?!?!
One of my favorite adventure game franchises, and a fifth game is coming out, can't wait.
Jeff is so good at video games that no one wants to play with him. :(
@AssInAss: What? No... He said "Broken STUFF is bad" not "Broken SWORD"
I wanted to hear more about the ducks....
Giantbomb not listed on MySimon as one of the other CBS Interactive sites.
I like the colour of Mountain Dew. F**k you, Ryan.
Maybe don't be trolled so easily!
@Xeirus: When there's no one prinning about talking up how Jeff's occasionally juvenile behavior is "bad ass" then I'll believe that there's no immature people on this site.
Oh thank god. Had to listen a few times to get it :P
RSS reader downloaded this twice and they're different file sizes. What's the deal, yo?
yeah, there are two of them and the second that was posted this morning is two minutes shorter. I have both of them; maybe I'll listen to them both to see what's up.
Would be cool if Drew could have joined :)
I love The Pest!! Fuck you guys!
Has "Brad Shoemaker" ever met Brad Shoemaker? I can't remember.
Top of the Pops ended in 2006. Since then there's only been a special every Christmas Day.
