@Artemis_D: a lot of the people here complaining i've not seen before, but moist people here have genuine causes for annoyance, someone constantly talking, with an annoying voice does not make a good listening experience, especially when she spends most of her time cutting people off, if you enjoy that then byall means praise her as some people have but most people have genuine reasons, seriously are you even listening to this?

Everyone just get over it...as if there hasn't been a bad bombcast before from the main cast and not a guest(remember when Jeff/Ryan were drunk to high hell and Rich was there and he really didn't like any of it whatsoever?) Exactly, get over it.

Leigh is fine, and yes, she was talking a mile a minute because she was hyped on fucking energy drinks. She realizes she talked too much too.

Yikes... Leigh took over. She must have spoken 3x more words than everyone else combined.  Some hard core web 2.0 technoblabber for half the show. Also some very weird comments attacking the world for the lack of MGS4 appreciation (it got a 94 on metacritic...).

Guys, seriously, I love your podcast. I've listened to every episode since Giantbomb started, even the old Skype Arrow Pointing Down stuff. Goddamn, don't have her on again. She's interesting, but talks way too much. Just skip to about 1 hr 45 min, bombcast doesn't really start until then.

Her voice is not bothering me too much but some of the things she says is possibly the dumbest things I've heard from a gaming podcast. Talking a lot isn't necessarily a bad thing but when the things you say are straight up idiotic it's a different story.

It's funny how you can tell the guys are just as annoyed when they start to not let her butt in.

I like how she's so into Metal Gear and thinks she's the only person that get's it, yet she pronounces his name "Heedio" and spouts shit like MGS was a failure and under-appreciated.

It's obvious that the guys are frustrated, but doing their best to mask it. It doesn't matter whether you agree with her or like her; the fact is that she's talking over people and dominating the conversation and that makes for a frustrating listening experience for anyone with their brain in the "ON" position.

First Bombcast I was skipping through sections.   Was hoping for nice rundown on Day 2 but so far it has been an hour of nothing.  Oh, I think I just got to some substance, yep START the podcast at  1 hour  17 mins.  Then go back and listen to "The Leigh Alexander Show" AKA the first hour and seventeen.  WAIT, shes back and talks about metal gear for another 20mins starting at at 1:28, ahhhhh.  Only at the end does she relize she has been talking non-stop and apologizes.

People just love their bombcast and I totally agree with them. You make valid points, people make a huge deal out of it. It's probably best if it gets left alone from here on out (like that's going to happen).

Her apology counts for a lot in my book and I hope others take that into consideration as well. I love this site not only for the amazing crew that runs it but also the community that isn't full of constant bickering like most sites (especially ones of the gaming variety). I hope it can stay that way.

I think that most people come to the site for the staff for the most part (content is good though guys!) so when someone breaks the mold most people take a negative approach, she already stated she had a littlle to drink, and I know that when i'm drinking I tend to ramble on, and her opinions, although different, are also valid.

I agree with everyone else. I understand it's bad to be so negative about another human being but frankly, this is unlistenable and I skipped more than I listened.

I'd prefer she didn't "apologise" on her blog, as it makes it worse, especially the passing responsibility to the Sparks. It's like a drunk pretending they don't remember the night before to avoid all responsibility. Very immature.

Only 30 minutes in and.....

Yes, she talks too much. My main complaints are

---Playstation bias- saying that Sony's 1:1 controls are more finished/real even though they only showed tech demos and a "not finalized" control is just dense. Sidenote, Natal could recreate Sony's motion controls with two different colored gloves...

---Claims to be an objective journalist, but then rants about how she is done with Resident Evil, is more of a Sony fan, and prefers Eastern style games.

---She is the anime fangirl from high school that would correct when you mispronounced Japanese names in front of her, and would look through your Maxim magazines and point out all the parts of the women that were airbrushed.
