With that Internet Explorer discussion, Patrick confirms he is my least favorite member of the Bombcast. He slams something while fully admitting he hasn't tried it in years. Say what you will about past versions, there's nothing wrong with IE9.
I have tried IE9 and it still sucks. To start with, it takes 10 times longer to boot up than chrome, and it lags when you open new tabs.
it's compared to firefox and chrome a bad browser, that's true. but all in all, it is fully functional and most people don't even see a difference. it's "the internet" for them.

Oh, man. If Patrick actually gives them 300 bucks for a machine, they have got to turn it into a video feature.

Awesome, Patrick is still a sexist!

When Brad mentions that Brave isn't faring too well critically and Patrick says something along the line of "Well it's Pixar's first woman director". Just kind of an odd statement to make right after Brad says how it's not doing well on Rotten Tomatoes. Also how Patrick as defending that sexist asshole during the Street Fighter stream thing a few months back.
You should probably listen instead of jumping into the comment box to make a snarky remark.

Calling someone a sexist over one poorly worded sentence seems unfair to me. I think these guys feelings on sexism and so fourth has been laid out already.

Booting from a crucial M4 is very very fast. Skyrim had virtually no loading times.
I'm really glad I got one when I did my last build.

I'm playing Max Payne again for the third time on the PS3 and I can kill anyone I want in shoot dodge and I have no problem at all doing what I want when I want which was Patrick gripe.
I don't understand how you guys need to stand behind cover because I have not encountered that problem except in some bigger encounters.
I played on Old School and Hardcore and I had no problem with ennemies eating that much bullets. The one who do have body armor so it's normal that they will eat bullets. Just shoot in the legs or in the head and you will be fine.
I'm not doing the New York Minute and replaying chapter on medium and I was amazed at how I feel so powerful now and that I can do almost anything I want killing who I want in slow time and shoot dodge like you guys describe the experience of the previous Max Payne.

If you keep listening you'll notice that he wasn't using the fact that this was the first Pixar movie to have a female director as an explanation for it not doing well, but rather he was concerned that if it didn't end up doing well critically and financially it might make Pixar more hesitant about using female directors in the future (which would be unfortunate).
Talking about Disney princesses and not mentioning Tangled? Arguably one of the best animated Disney movies EVER MADE. Fuck you guys.
The moment where Ryan said "dah boo dee, dah boo dah?" (barely 2 minutes into this) I had a weird moment, 'cuz I make that joke all the time, and nobody ever gets it:
Jeff's got a radio slot on CBS? We've got to hear those. Like, now.
The reminds me, what ever happened to the Nintendownload?

@Brad: @Brackynews: My interpretation of the ending was that woman was someone we had never seen before, which is where I couldn't of foreseen it. But I guess it depends on who you interpret that woman to be. The resolution of the camcorder was something of a trope though, like you said.
Someone please mock up some pictures of Vinny nude in a haunted office.
You gotta flip that shit in the AH to make some real motherfuckin money. Actually, I don't think I'm making a lot of money in the grand scheme of things (currently 400,000), but considering I'm still on normal Act 3 I think I'm doing pretty good when I set up my 10 auctions, go to the gym for an hour, and come back with 50,000 gold ready for me. It's extremely rare to come across something in the game that you can actually sell for 4,000-9,000 gold, but buying stuff for 500-3,000 has been working really well for me.

Oh great, another edition of my favorite hit international internet radio show, the Giant Bomb Dot Comcast!
"I played I Am Alive, and I think that game is really great"
"What?"
Amazing.
Edit: My experience with Amnesia was pretty much identical. It is an unpleasant game through and through. An absolutely abysmal experience that you have to force yourself through. But at the end of the day, it's kinda awesome that a game can do that at all. I could only play for about a half-hour at a time and it took me weeks to finish.
I like how IE9 had the address bar AND the tab bar on the same line.
FUCK tabs on top
FUCK tabs on bottom
FUCK YEAH tabs on the same line!
Android phones and even tablet are way WAY better then Apple stuff. How anyone can use an Apple device nowadays blows my mind. The only thing Apple has that is still respectable is their Macbooks, which I own and love.
Jeff make sure you get an SSD with really high read and write speeds cause they can vary pretty hard and they cost almost the same.
When they talk about the possibility of Nintendo failing, they're not taking into account that Nintendo has a lot of money in the bank. They could weather a few failed generations and stay in business.
@Brad: @biggiedubs: I have a friend with an uncanny ability to determine the endings of movies/books, because she has an extensive understanding of the tropes in fiction writing. With Brad's literature background the same awareness is not surprising.

I question Brad's ability to 'guess the ending' of I Am Alive, but maybe he is smarter / luckier than me.
I really liked I Am Alive. It had some sweet platforming and some fantastic moments. I felt more for that world in 12-15 hours then I ever did with Fallout 3 or New Vegas, but maybe that's me. I guess Fallout is more of a rebuilding atmosphere, compared to I Am Alive's desperate survival atmosphere.
Also, to Patrick's comment of 'you have to shoot the guy with the gun first'; it's a 'you have to shoot the bravest, most dangerous guy first' game. So it's kind of like Last of Us, so don't short change it.
I feel that it has the ending it needs, because it perfectly fits the narrative and theme of the game. It could have been handled better, but so could the entire game. Many times the game does look like crap, but in terms of pure writing and set-pieces, I thought it was great.
I thought the nature of the camcorder interludes was pretty obvious almost from the beginning of the game.
Max Payne 3 flashes an 'X' over the reticle when an enemy dies. I guess they didn't realize that.
