OK so I'm playing the PS3 version of DC Universe and I'll admit I'm enjoying myself. Does this mean if I was to start playing WoW I would absolutely love it. I don't normally play MMOs. In fact DC universe is the first MMO I've played.
Jeff really doesn't like DCUO, while lots of people like it. Including me. I guess a reviewers point of view is different from the normal gamers point of view.

Did you guys never hear of cosmetic equipment before? I guess it makes sense, you aren't really MMO folks. But many modern MMOs have a system similar to the one I heard described. Off the top of my head, I know Vanguard, Warhammer Online and Lotro have systems where you can equip things simply for show, and it adds a ton to character customization. No one wants to be wearing pink boots with green pants and a baby blue vest.
Coincidentally as they were mentioning John Romero and Wolfenstein, I was reading a book about id Software and was at the point talking about them working on Wolfenstein. As for Final Fantasy and SquareEnix, all I want to say now is that I consider them to be the laughing stock of the industry right now. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if XIII-2 makes little improvement on XIII if any. I've heard Nomura interviewed before where he basically said that the company don't really pay attention to complaints from gamers. They just make whatever they want to however they want to, regardless of whether its a good idea or not. If they're going to keep up that childish attitude they'll be lucky to be around another 5 years.
I don't think DC universe online is bad, I've played lots of mmos and DCUO seems like any other mmo kill dudes do quests but it's impressive how every quest has voice acting but probably playing it on the ps3 is a bad ideea.

Does he laugh at any point? Cause that nasally "Guhuh" he does fucking crushes my soul. "
A few times, but nothing he does is offensively irritating on this. He seemed relatively relaxed as opposed to the on-sugar routine he seems to possess for some of his appearances across Whiskey Media.

Thing is, I have a friend that is fucking IDENTICAL to Alex in every way but looks. He does the same nasally "Guhuh" after each sentence as if he's insecure about what he just said.
He just seems like one of those nervous guys because he's aware how socially inept he is.
I hope that if they don't continue with the DSi releases (;_;) that they spend more time on emails. One of the biggest reasons I love the Bombcast is the length.

I wouldn't say it that harshly. But if you feel that strongly about it then I guess you're better ignoring what happens to be the best bombcast since the break.
