I don't want to seem like a raging fanboy, but Jeff was always against this Uncharted product, and considering how he never said ANYTHING about Uncharted 3, I believe he didn't like that one either.
So why in God's name do you make Jeff review this game when you know how he feels about the Uncharted series as a whole (even tho he liked 2) ?

Jeff made Jeff review this game. Don't get your panties in a bunch, he gave it a fair shot like he does with any game he reviews. I'd prefer that than someone coming at the game from a fanboy mindset.

And I'd prefer them to stick to their fucking rules. They always have games reviewed by the ones that are the most interested in them.
Arkham City got a 5 because Jeff reviewed it. Uncharted 3 got a 5 because Brad reviewed it. Replace the reviewers and both those games would have gotten 4s.
I am not pissed about the score. I don't even plan on buying the Vita anytime soon. It's just that whenever a big console release comes along, they send the fanboys to review them, but when this comes along they send a non-fanboy. Which is good I guess, but why the fuck don't they do that at all times then?

Hey, maybe you missed it or weren't paying attention to the bombcast or something, but Brad was originally supposed to review Arkham, but he passed it off to Jeff because he wanted to enjoy it on his own time. And on your other post about Revelations, there was a time when brad was real warm on it and he was singing praises for it, but eventually grew cold on it.
Did you even read this review? He points out a multitude of reasons as to why Golden Abyss got the score it did, and one of the big ones is that Uncharted 3 (or Uncharted 2, even) could be found for the same price. So what do you want for $50: a shoddy handheld Uncharted with no big setpieces and shitty touch controls, or a full-fledged and beautiful console version?
His point is that it's a series known for beauty, technical prowess and eye-popping action sequences being shrunk onto a system that can't handle it, and then being used as a showpiece for technology which has no place in the game. His review is fair, his points are sound, and also fuck off.

I don't understand why U3 is even compared to U:GA. One is a console game other one is a handheld. The only way comparison works is if I can take my PS3 on a car ride or a plane flight. They are two completely different things. You can compare to other games as far as story or gameplay goes but the markets are so different and if you want to play Uncharted on the go, you don't really have a choice between the two.

BitterAlmond Follow

422
Forum Posts

21
Wiki Points

0
Followers

Reviews: 0
User Lists: 2

Edited By BitterAlmond

@Alexandruxx said:
I'll never get Giant Bomb's hate for handhelds.
