Brad was super annoying and bitchy today. I get what he was trying to say about all the sequels but dude go in with an open mind at least!

Seriously, stop spoiling completely unrelated games - even jokingly :'( Sometimes people want to be as clean as possible when going into a game, and not everybody has played every game from years ago...
Seriously, don't. I hate it when people can't discuss interesting stuff because somebody, somewhere, hasn't played a ten year old game or seen a twenty year old movie.
Not a fan of the video being cut off at the sides...rather just have the small portrait boxes (if that) over layed along the bottom.

I'm generally getting annoyed with his attitude lately, he seems to be getting more and more arrogant and single-minded about his opinions, which makes his 'sleepy disinterest' shtick when other people are talking in some videos/podcasts to be even more irritating.
I really dislike that type of camera and really like how its handeled in the new DmC.
I feel like if either Brad or Vinny weren't in the profession that they are currently in, they would be as worried as everyone else is about spoilers.
Brad complains about this game a lot - it's like it can never be his fault if he dies or screws up, it has to be some problem with the game. I have some friends like that.

Keep the spoilers coming. Somebody needs to destroy the stupid assumption that a) only things that they have seen are fair game for discussion and b) that being told what happens in a story immediately ruins the story (spoilers: Hamlet dies at the end).
I'm still digging this. Nice trip through memory lane with some excellent non-DMC commentary.
Man, Vinny, I'm so with you on those beach flies. In my experience you're more likely to encounter them at bay beaches, on hot days, and especially when the wind is stagnant. Under a microscope their mouths look like a mess of vibrating, rusty bayonets, and just one of their bites hurts a surprising amount, can bleed/easily get infected/etc... I'd take a tent mosquito over them any day, and that's saying something...
And then there are those times where there are SWARMS of them. I know I'm probably a little neurotic about it but as a kid my family would just sit there for 8 hours because that was vacation. Maybe they're a Long Island thing?
Weee! Great feature, also, what's up with so many deleted comments?
every time someone deletes their comment, the notification stays. The other site didn't display this so you would have seen lots of deleted comments
Got to give Brad credit. He said if the website didn't launch on time, that he would make the next Bradley May Cry free for all the members. Good for him. And good job with the video player update.

agreed,
he's easily i think the most cynical/jaded one out of the staff, dude needs to play different genres of games or seek out the different games... people give patrick shit, but at least hes branching out and seeking out different genres to keep his views healthy. and isnt as dismissive as brad.
@mooseymcman: He did. Just finished watching it, while keeping your comment in mind. He definitely saved
I'm starting to understand Jeff's annoyance during the Mass Effect 3 issues from Brad's constant praise for every single aspect of the new DMC. It's like geeze it's fine if people don't like it for being so incredibly different it's not a big deal. It's not necessary to constantly go on about it so much.
I remember beating this game in early middle school. I'm pretty sure if I picked it up now I wouldn't be able to do shit. Damn you Father Time!

Hear, hear! They are not advertising games, they are reviewing games. Having restricted conversations about games by dancing around the subject is quite frankly annoying and needs to stop. Everything is fair game.
The only sound reason I can see for someone getting upset about someone revealing how many chapters a game is that in certain games where there is a false ending, that person is just going to know when the game ends because they know how many chapters or levels there are. They will simply not be fooled by the fake ending or the "ending-before-the-ending" scenario, and that will lessen the impact of the fake ending or the actual ending or both in conjunction.
No no no Brad. If you, with knowledge of a particular game, have decided that something isn't a spoiler because of the context and go ahead and blab about it; you are engaged in spoilerish behaviour. It is a spoiler because you have just told someone that that thing isn't a consequential part of the game, when ideally the person would like to experience for themselves whether something is or is not consequential. Which in turn robs them of some part of the reveal. It is sort of like saying "there are no plot twists at the end."
OMG having a blast listening to Vinny and Brad talking about Downton Abbey while playing Devil May Cry! :D

Agreed. I'd go as far as saying that reviews as a means of buying advice is an antiquated idea, and that reviews, now, are a device of discourse on a product. Therefore, spoilers are more than welcome. Look at the DmC Devil May Cry review, most of the people commenting were complaining about the score the game deserved - obviously they weren't looking for buying advice, but a discussion on the quality of a product.
If you're afraid of any sort of information about a game before you've finished it, you should probably avoid websites that discuss video games in any sort of meaningful way.
I have nothing against Brad, but sweet jesus watching him try to play Devil May Cry and get lost, or fight poorly is mind numbingly painful.
@robopengy: Red Dead Redemption
I don't get how going to Mexico is a spoiler in RDR, you open the world map and it is RIGHT there. Can't miss it.
I played through like half the game earlier today, so it's really amusing watching the way Brad fights Griffon compared to the way I beat him. Ran off, bought Inferno for Ifrit, and then burned the chicken down. :)
