These videos are so badass.
I love these videos! Very Lost-y
Can not wait.
These videos have been great, I hope they do some more.
Love these! Reminds me of some of the old VHS ghost story tapes I used to buy as a kid.
Huh.. I didn't know VHS was around in the late 70's.
These videos are great, love the audio crackling. Can't wait for Infinite to come out.
I really love this videos
Takes me back to junior high film strips!
This is marketing that I can get behind.
I am the CHOSEN ONEEEEEE!
Yep, these are great.
This ad campaign is the best.
I love these videos so goddamned much.
So this is what they're spending their extra time on.
Sweet, a few more delays and a few more of these, and I wont have to play the game.
Man I love these videos. Can't wait to play. There should be a game shot completely like this as well.
Man, I love this. I wish other marketing companies would learn from this.
God damnit, that's great. I still hate the use of in-game characters for certain shots though. It sticks out so badly.
This stuff is just fun, I don't know why other games can't come out with interesting ways to present themselves and their stories.
Wow. First time I seen something for that game that looked neat. Wish they would just do an hour or two video special like that and put it up on youtube.
Sell me this soundtrack damnit!
If I wasn't already sold on this game, I would be because of these videos.
Finally, the first game of 2013 that I'm actually interested in (though not as much as I thought I would be - I find myself in a mood about this game where I would be completely content if they said it was going to be delayed for another year).
It's also interesting that this will be the first Bioshock game that I'll be playing on the PC. I felt the others were very enjoyable on the console and generally prefer to buy non multi-player games on console so that I can share with other people in the household. I just couldn't ignore the early impressions from people who said that it looks fine on console, but absolutely stunning on PC. So . . . there ya go.
What I find funny about these trailers is that I suspect more than half of the population watching them don't comprehend the appeal, as they've never sat through a grainy, slightly out of sync, tinny-voiced, stiffly narrated film reel in school like you had to in the 70s and 80s.
Oh god. So old. So. Old.
Nope, not bored with the late-'70s VHS aesthetic yet. Keep 'em comin'!
Erm. I don't think that's what they're going for, Alex. They're going for 60s, 70s, and 80s school film reels, I'm pretty sure. The crackling and tinny audio sort of give that away, as well as the typical distortion of the video and audio at one point.
At least, that's my take on it.
Honestly these are the most effective advertising I've seen for these games. To me at least. :)
Can't WAIT for this game. It's gonna be great!
Like you didn't know that.
Keep giving me more of these videos.
Man, please let this game be good. Please!
Game of the space-time continuum, all space-time continuums.
This is the first bit of Bioshock Infinite advetising I have paid any attention to, god damn did they ever nail the aesthetic. That was pretty cool.
I like how these are in 4:3.
I'm really into the videos, but I think the game might now own up to what I think of the advertisement.
If they made the game in the style of those, though, I'd be down any day of the week.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ken thought up of the idea for the 1970's film reel-style trailers.
HEY GUYS, I THINK THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT THAT ELIZABETH CHARACTER.
I think this video may have sold me on a day one buy.
Wish I could like the Bioshock series but I got to give them credit these old school trailers are pretty cool.
wow, that video was pretty amazing
Oh, so Elizabeth is the chosen one? That's exactly the type of story hook this game needed.
