Anyone else have sound issues towards the end of the video? Looks like a pretty interesting game though.

Am I the only one that no longer plays shooters on consoles?
I play them sparingly, but yeah most games are now best on PC.
Wow, all that audio clipping out left me with more questions than answers at certain points :/
Does Bungie really think they are NOT making an MMO? Are they really inventing something new here?
Anyone else have some weird audio feedback? I'm guess that might be jeff's mic?
Jeff is so interesting to listen to. Destiny's reveal is simultaneously exciting and disappointing for me; exciting because it looks and sounds pretty awesome, disappointing because we saw very little of the actual game and know very little about it.
For 360 and PS3? Jeff just fuck up and say that or what? That seems really weird to put this out on last gen systems esp when its supposed to be a long term IP. This whole lack of info on games for next gen systems is just weird regardless. Nothing shown, consoles in 8 months.
MMO? Meh.
No PC? *sigh*
Next thing you know it's gonna have a monthly subscription... Or even worse: free-to-play.
so activision is definitely going to try to make yearly installments of this game right
make the audio stop cutting out and getting staticky, the other videos were better.
While some of the elements seem kinda basic (Multiplayer focused shooter, Aliens, etc), the game seems fresh for some reason. The art really got me interested. The setting of a dirty future is cool, and the idea that humans being on the downturn post-galactic expansion is interesting.
Glad I'm not the only one with audio issues. It's probably a noise filter with the threshold set too high. Shame, I feel like I missed some valuable points in the video, the game sounds...interesting?
It's a MMO. Free to play most likely in the vein of Planet Side or something?
free after the 60$ initial purchase. Probably lots of microtransactions too

Same here. I haven't touched my console in years. Hehe, touched my console. Sorry.
No PC version... WTF!
Seriously, I'd like to play this just not with a controller. I can't play shooters with a controller anymore.
Everything Jeff mentions about this game just reminds me of Defiance, and that game is a full on MMO for all three platforms. All that talk about going on adventures and then some dude coming in to join the fight just feels like defiance in FPS.
I am really excited for this game, I just don't know how it's going to work with new consoles coming.
Nothing about this sounds terrible. But I cannot see how disseminating this vague set of details so removed from any actual footage and a release makes any goddamn sense.
I was interested in this but hearing that it probably won't be released for the PC kind of turns me away.
On a side note what's up with the audio cutting out randomly?
@winternet: Yea noticed that too, good to know it wasn't just me. Guess it's Jeff's recording equipment?
How do I make the video "stick" in place while scrolling down to read the comments? Best feature of the new site removed?
I liked A LOT how You presented this information. Very informative with a dedication to work through the marketing talk.

thought they were editing out stuff that cant be said at first
My money was on editing out profanity based on some sort of agreement from the press event, but yeah, it's the home setup, probably just ordinary recording issues.
So the game is pretty interesting. Seems very much like a competent developer rebuilding the PSO model.
The fact that it's probably multiplatform and segregated is actually sort of troubling, in a way that normally doesn't matter for console games. If this thing is going to compete as an MMO in any sense - and it has classes, named loot, and enough other details to suggest that - the size of the community it can pull in and get talking to each other tends to overwhelmingly determine how good that kind of game is long term. People need to be able to join their buddies, and the few MMOs that were a big success so far have tended to be cross-platform communicating, or single-platform.
Hopefully Bungie realizes they do have the weight to throw around to build a good ecosystem for their game.

Click the pin that says "sticky video."
By the way, if you're looking for some sticky videos, I could show you a couple websites.
Bungie hasn't let us down yet (Aerospace doesn't count). Every FPS they have put out has pushed the genera in a new direction enough to keep it interesting. The class based thing reminds me of Resistance 2. Not well executed, but great in theory. Also, I think the art looks very Reach'ish, my personal favorite. Either way, my interested is peaked.

Thanks, duder. Hit me up with those websites later.
Alot of the stuff seemed to really make it look like that Destiny is a FPS x MMO. That hub city where you meet dudes to shoot faces with seems ripped out of World of Warcraft. I just hope the shooting and gameplay are good. I also don't see how this would work on current hardware if they really want to expand the game the way they're talking about.
So.. Warframe, but BIGGER. (although Guild Wars comparison was already made so w/e)
@duffyside: Bottom-right of the video. The thumb tack symbol, definitely not removed.
Also, the audio on this video is definitely jacked. I get weird static and Jeff's voice cuts out completely at times.
Sounds interesting I guess, seems kinda weird to have an event and not really show the game at all.
People are going to hear "The schedule seemed really padded, like there was something they cut out" and "'Wait, you aren't going to see the game today?'" and suspect that Sony got them to delay gameplay footage for the Playstation event. I would caution people into assuming
The Best Case: There are PS4/720 versions, and we will see the PS4 version on Wednesday
when it's far more likely we will get
The Worst Case: On Wednesday, we hear "And as part of our long term commitment to PS3, let me present the worldwide gameplay premiere of... Destiny!" and PS4/720 versions aren't out until the next major title version in 2015 - not even the expansion release in '14, the new title in '15.
And no, you almost never get unified online systems. As long as the patch processes are different for the various systems, they can never guarantee all systems will update at the same time, so everyone is running on separate servers. Not much anyone can do about it.
Support this 10years and release it on the current generation hardware wich is at its end wtf?
Will they release an upressed version for the next generation with cross play to the old or whats up Bungie?
