The Future is here! or there.....yeah whatever
You know...trim his hair, give him glasses, and fatten him up a bit.... Patrick could do a fair Brad Muir impression....
I'm so glad the turn around time has been so damn fast. Thanks for all the hard work!
Was a fun watch but noting they showed blew me away. I was surprised how much game they had to show, but what they showed just looked like more of the same with better visuals. And the visuals didn't do anything for me because the video was so grainy that it was hard to make any of it out. Will be interested in seeing what comes out after launch, but all of those online features they were trumpeting hold zero appeal to me and even if they did I could never use any of them as they all sound as if they would require some amazingly fast internet with no data cap to work well. Not sure how many people have one of those.
That guy who revealed the new Infamous game was WAY too intense. ..we get it dude, but it's still fucking video game..
I have to be honest and say that I was totally prepared to go into this and be massively disappointed but Sony knocked it out of the fucking park.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks it would be badass if Vinny shaved his head and let his beard grow out a little more.
I love how you can tell Brad was genuinely interested in listening, like during the Mark Cerny talk, and the other guys are talking over cracking too many jokes. I love the laid back nature but when it comes down to the important stuff, like specs, you could tone it down for 2 minutes.
I was moderately impressed with what they did show. The games i saw, meh, but the info about the console was pretty impressive. The direct streaming, sharing, console hibernation, playing games as they download. All geuinely neat improvements for a next gen console to have on the system OS level.
Looking good. Smart tactic on Sony's part for not showing the console. Remember Microsoft is next up to reveal their next gen console. This way Sony has a "second" reveal to compete with Microsoft new console announcement.
Loved the reactions from you guys. I would like to see this more often, like if Konami does another pre-E3 conference.
OOOO! (I don't know how to spell what I'm trying to say there, but it's the oo sound like in book). Anyways, this is great. This is what I was waiting for. It's very exciting to hear the opinions of the crew from sites. When was this made, and why did I not see it before? Was it a premium thing?
Edit - Oh, it's the thing that goes with it. OK though, seems alright. Furthermore, on a note that's off topic, is anyone getting a bug with the messages? Ever since the update, my messages have always said that I have two new messages, and I'm not sure if it's even working, like, I don't know if I've had any new messages since.
The speed at which you get this stuff up is fantastic. Thanks guys. I caught the end of it after work and it was excellent, looking forward to watching all of it.
While I'm at it, wonderful work on the site engineers!
1) Love the Driveclub dude
2) I almost started crying when the guy was talking about inFamous: Second Son.
The games look nice, and im impressed, but the autodownload/gaikai stuff could not interest me less.

I liked this style and presentation but I wish there was better control over it. Surprised Ryan let it get like that.
Yeah, I had to mute it after awhile and tune into other streams. The puns got too ridiculous and annoying when they were actually giving information out. I heard Brad tell them to be quiet but that lasted about 2 mins before shiny things mode kicked back in :(
Watched this live... The GB team made what could have been quite a dry presentation into pure Gold... I wonder if Jeff wishes he'd stayed behind with the rest of them and just sent Alex on his own - The conference room was awful quiet!!

If you wanted the specs and super-important information, then you had a stream for that.
Tuning into this stream and then complaining that people were talking over it too much seems kind of silly.

1:10 to 1:19, those 9 mins were pure gold.

This. Seriously what did you guys expect?
Overall, a pretty damn good conference, and watching it MST3K-style is the only way to watch such a thing.
