I had to turn you guys off the first time, your mics were just too loud and interrupting the show too much.
Now I can really enjoy the commentary.

I love how you can tell Brad was genuinely interested in listening, like during the Mark Cerny talk, and the other guys are talking over cracking too many jokes. I love the laid back nature but when it comes down to the important stuff, like specs, you could tone it down for 2 minutes.
I liked this style and presentation but I wish there was better control over it. Surprised Ryan let it get like that.
Yeah, I had to mute it after awhile and tune into other streams. The puns got too ridiculous and annoying when they were actually giving information out. I heard Brad tell them to be quiet but that lasted about 2 mins before shiny things mode kicked back in :(
If you wanted the specs and super-important information, then you had a stream for that.
Tuning into this stream and then complaining that people were talking over it too much seems kind of silly.
This. Seriously what did you guys expect?
I'm not expecting to get the details from the stream I'm expecting there reactions from the details which was absent during my example because of not really paying attention. Like when Ryan was saying Mark Cerny was talking a bunch of bullshit and Brad corrected him with saying he was talking about how they basically fucked up the PS3 with the cell processor and decided to go with a more basic architecture. That's a huge moment for the positioning of the platform.
Again I'm not saying this is something I'm going to go on a tyrade and tweet or complain about on the forums. Guess what when the Sucker Punch rep was getting a little too serious about the setup for a mere trailer and they were dying it was hilarious, but when it's semi important and one member of the team is trying to listen it stands out. It's merely something I noticed watching the stream.

Too be quiet during the important stuff like specs and features, and be able to hear the stuff during gameplay demos instead of "oh not another shooter", I loved them cracking jokes at the stuff in between but if you are going to talk over everything at least turn up the stream volume.
5.4GB
I am actually downloading the new Playstation!
So this is the digital future I've heard so much about!
Do videos work on mobile yet? I haven't been able to play anything on my itouch since the site launch.
Kudos to Sony , a very well thought out console(in theory) and a well executed press conference. I definitely see a network subscription fee being tacked on somewhere , where as they may still not charge to play multiplayer titles online, all that other streaming/clip uploading/live game sharing is going to cost either up front at time of purchase or with a monthly fee.
The intense sucker punch guy looks like that creepy actor from The Green Mile the ended up marrying a 16 year old in real life.

I kept thinking he looked like the dude who played Ivan in The Machinist after losing 30lbs.
i sincerely hope jeff did in fact produce the lone "WOO!" at blizzard's mention of rock and roll racing.
Loving the new controller, hopefully it isn't hyper expensive. Also, some of these guys were kind of fucking crazy. Regardless, they put on a very impressive show. Microsoft will probably have some decent stuff, but I'm more interested in how hard NIntendo has to work to impress people buy showing their A game as far as gameplay and creativity. Yeah, the Wii U isn't that much more powerful than current machines (we'll see how far it can go when Nintendo knows it inside & out and pumps out a best in class showcase game), but what will really matter is gameplay. And while I'm sure that new Killzone will try to differentiate it self further from the older games, I'm hoping we get all developers pushing themselves forward with more games like Watchdogs and the like.
@crusader8463: Is data limits actually that common in the States? I don't think I've ever heard of anyone having it here in Sweden.
It's rare that I'm actually home and free to watch a live stream. Most enjoyable today, gentlemen.
Impressive presentation. Very interested to see how Microsoft responds.
This video has cemented my feeling that the new video player is shit. I can't scrub through or click to an exact point effectively.
Despite all the awesome announcements, this image header sums up the event for me. Nothing but creeping dudes, I burst out laughing when Ryan said that it turns out that guy actually just walked into the event
Thanks for getting this up so fast. I had to work during the live stream, but now I'm home, I've got a nice cup of tea and I'm ready to be wowed.
Best stream of the event, couldn't stop laughing despite it being a pretty good Sony performance. Vinny, Ryan and Patrick on top form.
can anyone confirm that it was jeff's "woo" for rock n' roll racing?
God I hope so.
And that dude talking about Infamous: Second Son and the Drive Club guy had me in tears.

Jeff said on his Tumblr that wasn't him, he doesn't woo at press conferences. I'm glad there's still people like that, seeing every trailer met with One Direction-esque Beatlemania is wearying.
That was some exciting business, mind you I feel like the only person who thinks the infamous franchise is derivative and dull. Watch dogs again demoing really well.
The commentary had me in stitches many times, it was fun to play along with. I'm a bit sad though that were no 'poor man's J Allard''s thrown at the Sucker Punch guy because when he first came on, at a distance, I was nearly freaked out. Either way that has become my new favourite 'thing' rivalling 'Bam there it is'
Oh that's perfect. That's a gif I'd post on a board with the utmost conviction.
The download services being on in the background is not an issue for Japan or most of Europe (and not for me). As it is now I have ~100mbit up/down with a reasonable monthly fee and with no limitations at all. I am hopefull that you guys overseas will have the same at least some time during the new console cycle.
Nice coverage! Cheers!
Edit: Ok, since I actually can't back it up, lets revise to: large parts of Europe :)
Coming into the stream and expecting it to mostly show business suits jerking each other off with a mild hope of the GB dudes making that experience bearable I was very pleasantly surprised. Two solid hours of PR and branding were actually presented in a highly interesting and pretty exciting fashion, even to someone like me that cares about system details and games more than anything else.
I thought Sony chose a fantastic selection of personalities to drive the point home, showed more solid information than I could've ever expected and did a great job of conveying their core ideas for PS4. At this point I'm genuinely thrilled to see if and how they pull the new hardware off. The GB commentary accompanying the whole thing was as good as expected. Very nice all in all.
I'm so glad I watched this here last night. Don't think I could have handled Sony's INTENSE DUDES without Brad, Vinny, Patrick and Ryan pointing out how mental they were.
I am reading about it on one of the largest newspapers in Sweden and they really got some things wrong. They interpreted holiday as vacation and said it was going to be released during the summer vacation 2013 which obviously is not what they meant. Holidays means thanksgiving and Christmas. Seems like it was written by someone who knows nothing about video games or American culture. Also it said they talked about Playstation 5 and even Playstation 6.
I guess Sony thought it was a good idea to announce the console before Microsoft to make consumers think it's the superior product, but you have to wonder if they'll have anything original left to show at E3.

Stop treating aftonbladet as anything but a source of entertainment >:)
