Here are my sketches of just two of my favourite Lost characters, Sawyer and Locke. I did a Ben Linus too, but it kinda looks bad...

Obviously, Locke is the better one, and im ever so proud of it, unlike my other drawings, i spent a long time with it, and took it real slow. It's still no Speed Painting as seen here, but, that is what gave me the inspiration to do it.

If you hate Lost...no real need to mention it here, but if you're dying to, go right ahead.

Oh snap.  Keep it up!

I feel like doing another character!

I think that first drawing needs a bit more detail on the facial hair. Really that's just a nitpick and they're both pretty good drawings.

@Vinchenzo:

You're right, that is nit picking. But err i understand, when drawing it, it was giving me a problem...it was some pretty good stubble in the photo, and drawing it was a slight bitch so i said fuck it, but i did some good facial hair detail in this

It ain't no Mona Lisa, but good nonetheless.

Pffft, i kicked the Mona Lisa's ass.

Haha, thank you CMA.

Hmm, could you do a drawing of Juliet? Would love to see a drawing of her.

These are great man :)

good job!

you're on your way to being a good artist.

You just have to keep practicing.

Some tips are, work on drawing lots of still life drawings. You need to work on you alignments, demensions, shading etc. The mouth on locke is facing the wrong way, Sawyers eyes are uneven etc.

But like i said, good job and keep it up!!

Good stuff!!! Can't wait for Season 6!!

Posted by Death_Burnout

Yeah but then again, you ain't seen what i'm drawing from...these are all still life technically.

The shading on Locke was done in a rush and is far from complete, i'd also like to add that none of the drawings i show are ever "complete" in a sense. I bring them "up" to a certain point before i add them to my profile.

That sounds like a good idea...i've not done a drawing in months, since i did those actually.

I wouldn't, I hate that expression she has on her face all the time.

Hmm...i honestly dont have any tips! especially since i'm not professional. But i will say time is key, if at first you dont succeed, give it time, you get better...way better, as can be seen from my old drawings, though i didn't actually give them as much care and consideration i'll admit.

@Death_Burnout: My Aunt is an artist. Next time she comes over I'll ask her to help me draw. My problem is I set down and look and a blank piece a paper and I don't know where to start. You know what I'm saying?
Edited by Death_Burnout
@Wolverine:

Yeah i hear you, that's why i find drawing something that i can see, whether it being a still object or something on a screen, the best, and funnest, thing to do.

I have a ton of ideas...but, knowing where to start on paper is really difficult. especially when i have such a vivid image in my head, and when i can't draw it, it's endlessly frustrating.

Sorry this one is close to my heart, I'm going to give it to my mom.

@ArchScabby: I think you should put a price on it, or this edited picture of you demonstrates your fate.

On topic I do like the pictures but John's eyes look to feminine.
Edited by Death_Burnout

Ironically i drew a tiny picture of Locke like that in corner of the page as a little bit of a laugh...

Also i dont really see the feminine eyes thing...i guess they got that kinda shape to them, but that wasn't intentional.

Draw one of Richard.  He's probably my favorite character on the show.  They need to do some more backstory on him.

@CitizenKane:

Oh man could i even possibly capture the awesomeness of Richard though? lets face it, those brows would rip the page apart.
