The people have taken over my work. Now... I can die in peace.
Fillin' up the slot, and then pullin' out? Doesn't sound like a good plan...

Taking into consideration how they play and what happens after, their thought process on fusing the cocunut-elephant dude is hilarious.
Kanji's face in the all-out attack screen is friggin' awesome. IMMA FIRIN' MAH LAZAH BLAAAAAAAGH!!

Oh my god all the Ice Cube stuff. SO GOOD.
Also, what the hell, Jeff talking about Nicki Minaj in May 2009? I must have been way later to the party than I realized.
I love how Vinny gets lost when they get the card that reveals the whole map.
It still annoys me that they don't fully heal after each battle. All it takes is the wrong kind of enemy hitting you first to lose all your progress.
Awesome . Watched these all the way through . Im endurance running the endurance run
lol at Vinny going "Sssh" when seeing the "Gold Shadow"
Also characters that are quite low behind level wise will earn extra exp so catching up isn't that hard. Also just rotate through em like you did with Chie, she was low on Sp so bring in Kanji and when you get the next character make 2 groups. More people you use the quicker you can clear through a dungeon.
Also Stagnent Air is on EVERYONE to my knowledge. As you will later get an ability that raises crit on ALL and it does it on the enemy as well as your party.
All I can say is I can't wait for the next couple of episodes. Some CRAZY ASS STUFF is about to go down!
There! There! There! There! There! Loved the episode but oh boy, I came across the Jeff singing forum thread and laughed my ass off.
Since Mr james is too stupid to check the comments for replies, while he comments 4 times saying the same thing... i will just copy what i said,
Mr James if u cant appreciate whats given to you then GTFO, this series is awsome, and lots of people enjoy it, truth is there are not that many games to be played right now, its all shit, i myself quit playing games these last 2 weeks cause nothing is out. And one hour a day is nothing... this show has been going on for a while and if u check the records u will c that while the show was rolling there were high seasons of updates so its obviously not the problem here.
Open ur eyes and realize theres barely any news out there, i check Giantbomb, Gamespot, IGN, GG, nooo news.
ANd btw u ignorant dumbass, there is no editing, the point of the show is that we see the whole run, so they played the game for an hour and then uploaded it. Maybe if u had the common sense to know that ur talking about... and learn about what ur critisizing....

If you want to cheaply regain SP for Charlie, you can equip a persona with invigorate and go back to the first dungeon. Then just waste turns blocking :P Later, Succubus and some other personas get spirit drain, so you can leech SP from target enemies.
Confuse does work best against treasure hands; you guys were right about that. I use confuse against harder enemies as well.
Hermit Arcana Chance will only hide your map if upside down. It doesn't kick you out.
An enemy (or party member) that is enraged has a higher attack, but lower hit/evasion rate. Also, they will only use regular physical attack and will not use skills.
Try to finish the Dungeon tomorrow, go home and rest, get your SP back and go in and finish it tomorrow. Because odds are you are going to need to go back to level ^_^
Kanji's Zio skills are really just to knock things down(which is obvious if you notice his horrible magic stat and his tiny sp pool) - his real strength is physical power, which he has in spades. He's a great chance for you guys to start using all those lovely physical skills you keep ignoring - you really DON'T have to try to find the weaknesses of *everything* you encounter. If it's a dangerous enemy or one that doesn't take much damage from physical skills, fine, use magic, but a lot of things go down as easily with physical skills as they do with magic skills - and the sp cost of healing the hp used for physical skills is FAR lower than the sp used to cast magic all the time. (especially if you have the foresight to buy some healing item...which you guys never do, but just in case you remember than you can use items to heal(even those 3467 peach seeds giving +20HP each adds up after a while...and honestly, are you ever going to bother selling them?))
Not to mention all those lovely added effects many physical skills have - whether the game flat-out tells you about them(ex: the added confusion of skull cracker) or if they're not directly told but are made fairly obvious anyway(ex: Sonic Punch has a higher crit rate than most attacks, although the game doesn't say so in its description). This is extra handy with no-weakness/resistance enemies since you get to damage them AND go after their high susceptability to status at the same time.
(Chie's built for physical attacking too, although she can get away with using more magic than Kanji can)

I think that Jeff should take control for some time. Vinny needs to go to rehab because his coke addiction is clearly interfering with his concentration. We love you Vinny; that's why we want you to go.
Jeff was right when he noticed that Kanji was gaining levels more often than everyone else because he was behind. Persona uses a scaled experience system, so if you put someone you haven't used for a while in a party with more experienced characters and fight high level enemies, they'll gain levels almost every battle until they've pulled within the others. They'll still be a bit behind, of course, but it's pretty useful in that it basically only takes one dungeon trip to catch a character up with the rest.
Secondly, the fastest/cheapest way to get a Ippon-Datara with Sukukaja is to fuse Sylph and Angel. Just pull those out the next time you're in the Velvet Room for an easy rank up. And if you use Ares to make Gdon, try to get Rampage on it because that's one of her later requests too.
That King Frost was potentially free fusing material seeing as how the other cards were nothings. (ie. no penalty for picking it if you miss King Frost)
Characters do indeed catch up quickly when underleveled compared to the other party members.
A Lamia is a creature of Greek mythology that is half woman half serpent. She was also said to be a former queen of Libya and to devour children.
Cobra Commander... why you gotta gerrymander the districts?
Sounds like a great GI Joe episode.
I would highly recommend a good ice immune persona soon. Titania just won't cut it.
Looking forward for tommorow's ep. Maybe we'll get a juicy boss fight :D
Rage forces someone to only attack, but the damage they deal is doubled. However, the damage they take is also doubled.
That is the second time Vinny asked if Yukiko is saying 'I am god'...don't ask me how I remembered this, I don't even know.
Oh, and btw, the discussion about Ice cube was hilarious.
So the guy who IM'd me, saying he wanted to grind me and fill up my slots in his dungeon just wanted to play Persona with me? I'll have to get in touch with him ASAP.
During the next dungeon you can get this weapon for chie which has a high chance of enervating an enemy every hit, its pretty f**king awesome. Hell, I used it for everything but boss battles till the end of the game.
I believe that most enemies with no weaknesses (like those knights, which aren't weak to mudo or hama either) have a higher suseptibility to ailments. So enervating or confusing those guys is a perfect move. Remember that Yosuke has Tentarfoo which can put confuse on all enemies.
Also, exhaustion it possibly the WORST ailment ever. The character takes much more damage from attacks, but worst of all is that they lose SP every turn until it runs out. Its absolutely horrible, so make sure you have lamia or another persona that can remove it, or a stockpile of items ready to counter it. Unless you want to see your character lose 100-150 SP for no gain at all. Thankfully its a bit rare, but I think the next boss is the one that uses it a lot. I wasn't prepared, so I had to resort to another method of removing exhaustion to preserve SP: Death. LOL
This is the only reason I come here every day. Otherwise, I'd probably just check in every couple of days. Keep up the good work!
Good episode, but at the end you could have benefitted from a little more patience. There were a ton of level 30/31 personae that you could've (double) fused if you weren't in a hurry to peace out. But I guess an hour of enduring can be pretty taxing.
jeffs catch phrase, he says in more then 5 episodes:
"PHTTTTTT...poop noises is what I think about that (insert crappy object)
You really should try to keep some Personas with -Hama and -Mudo skills available, guys. You're reaching the point where some of the wealth hands & strong enemies are weak to it (which means a 100% success rate).
