Ultimately, sadly, it's a waste of time. You can't go above 10, and really it just says "You spent some time with Chie. You have forged a bond with her that can never be broken."

I wish Kojima would make some sort of Metal Gear JRPG, because that's probably the only thing I can imagine would work as an Endurance Run other than a new Persona game. However, my knowledge of JRPGs is pretty limited to a handful of series, so there might be something totally awesome out there that would live up to this Endurance Run, who knows.

I don't think any other type of JRPG would work with an Endurance Run format, most JRPGs just devolve in a grind, however this has socializing to mix it up and add to the game so it doesn't get stale. I don't think many people would still be watching if all that was happening was grinding and the occasional cut scene per episode. I actually hope they do a Persona 3 Endurance Run after this.

Haha, not quite, unfortunately. JRPGs may never escape the realm of bad tradition, so it's a good thing there are games like P3/4 to go against the grain, in setting and premise (not always in combat). Plus, there are plenty of people who insist on grinding it out in these games anyway, even when it's not necessary.

And, as much as I love older stuff like Wild Arms 3, I'd put the kibosh on an endurance run with no voice acting. Huge cut scenes would be like pulling teeth after a while, even if the writing is excellent.

Isn't this over yet? What is there left to do? Watching you walk around talking to people and doing ham-fisted fusions is pretty boring.

If the game is over, turn it off and move on to something else. Preferably something not from the Megami series.

Love the Endurance Run !!! FYI even though this is still far away you should increase knowledge and understanding to start the Naoto social link.

If you want to complete Dojima or Nanoko S. links you should do it as soon as you can for they will be cut off in a few months ahead.

Also Rise is definetly a social link you want to complete. Out of the team I suggest finishing Kanji last for I found him the easiest in the end time.

In the end you get some extra scenes from the people that have rank 10 social links that are fun to read and watch. If you do the true ending that is.
