Hilarious! I want to play this game.
This game is way way more awesome than i remember from an old playstation mag demo...mostly because i sucked at it then.
This is what I hate about older games and why I'm glad today's games are "mad easy." A lot of old games had a lot of really cool stuff going for them, but they were so hard that you had to either practice until it just wasn't fun anymore or give up. It's why Comix Zone doesn't hold up as well as it should today. That game had no continues, put obstacles in your path that hurt you to remove, etc. The core gameplay and the artistic sensibilities were so ridiculously awesome that it's seriously tragic that the difficulty is so high that it's much tougher to appreciate it.
Same with this game. This is the kind of game I can only appreciate from a distance. If I were playing that, I'd probably get real frustrated, real quick. Even Parappa is way too unforgiving.
A lot of Brads were pulled in this QL :D
please do more retro qls this is awesome
I think I may have wet myself from laughing so hard....
I demand more!
More of this game and more quick look backs.
need MORE QUICKLOOKS!
Man fuck Jet Moto, this needs to be on the PSN store.
keep playing i want to learn how to do the darn Ferris Wheel level!
That looks like an awesome game. I'd love to play it myself.
Great Quick Look guys and as many others have said, I'd love to see more of these. All those crazy games each one of you has enjoyed from the past and showing us why you love them so much.
More Quick Looks on this game! Encore!!!!!!!!!
This looks awesome!
Next Endurance Run?
Man Tokyo Ska, have all their albums. Youtube 'skaravan' to see the awesomeness that is TSPO.
Amazing. I have to find this game.
I think we as the viewers, deserve that 20 minutes of Taneo Dance Fever. Retro Quick Look Bloopers please!
And I remember getting this game for christmas that year. The worst stages were the 3 or 4 "You're on a boat with a hole in it" marathons. My thumbs were finished after those 3.
This game needs an Endurance Run. I'm not even joking.
I played this game back in the day! I even beat this madness! This game was so freaking awesome! The best mini game was the one on the Carousel. I know Ryan knows what I am talking about.
Not more fun than a good old mini game about adultery! hahaha
Bishi Bashi was better!
Still epic to watch.
This game looks super hard. But also super awesome
I remember seeing a lot of clips of this game on X-Play (or probably "Gamespot TV," as it was called back in the day; not to be confused with the site Gamespot), but never actually played the game, or owned a Playstation 1, for that matter. Neat seeing it now.
It's the Japanese version of Mommy, Daddy, Billy and Sarah or something.
Looks flipping bananas
Farkin' awesome. Thanks for showing us this bubbling cauldron of weird, Ryan!
ughh so close but freakin awesome
wow love it!
This game is funny but also very very very difficult
I bought it with my PS1 and never passed Level 1 ....
Don't remove MEMORY CARD and CONTROLLER
In other words, you can remove only the memory card or only the controller? :P
I remember playing this demo when it came out in the OPM...
Just the office building part though...
LOL I am with ya Vinny. I'm all about the redheads.
On am more related note, man I remember this game. It was crazy. It's a shame you can't get great original games like this anymore. Probably the closest thing on the market today is XY/XX: Feel The Magic and Rub Rabbits.
As I suspected, the Japanese call their paramedics the "A Team." This game is amazing.
thx for retro quick look
available nowhere :)
Remember seeing this game on tv when I was like 12 but I never managed to play it but I liked the quirky look of it and just how crazy it was. Would love to see more quicklooks of past games like this.
You should just call these Throwbacks. That's a pretty catchy name. Screw the Quick Look part. This way QLs are new games, and Throwbacks older ones. Simple and easy. Unless of course you guys wanna keep them together.
aw, they didnt reach the ferris wheel game. :(
I really want to play this.
FUCK FUCK FUCK
The first minigame brought back horrible memories of Parappa the Rapper.
I still have this game (disc only). I should play it one of these days.
" Bishi Bashi was better! Still epic to watch. "I just trawled through 7 pages of comments to see if anyone mentioned Bishi Bashi. Man, that game is fun. I remember my girl and I playing it until all hours of the morning.
