" That smiling dialogue portrait of Adachi makes him look like he's stoned out of his mind. "

Maybe the final boss is a gigantic bong. That would explain all the fog, too.

What it should remind you of this

This is where "Raper Guy" comes from.

Good episode :) You guys where right Adachi was going to try and rape the first girl. He truely did not know that Yamano was going to die that is why when they found her he vomited the first time. But as we know he started liking it......

Vinny and Jeff you have only till the 21st of December to complete the dungeon if you want to get the a special event that will realy be sad if you miss it for you guys.

Truth you have till 22nd but you want to be sure you have atleast one safe day if anything goes wrong.

@hai2u: I don't believe you simply because of your 'u', 'i' and 'ppl.' It's doesn't exactly give you an air of creditibility.

I was always wondering if they would go back to the original room. Seemed too important to only be brought up once.

@FLStyle: lol i thought this was the internet not a writing class. anyway like some1 said earlier its a matter of opinion and i know im in the small minority. basically i felt that after adachi it was just bad writing, well the thing after adachi made sense, the thing after that tho was needlessly tacked on imo.

This episode was beyond hilarious.

It isn't a matter of opinion it's a matter of having trouble believing anything you say because you're typing your posts like a 15-year old on a mobile phone.

In any case I'm happy with as many explanations on as many things as possible.

So is Adachi able to control the Midnight Channel?  If not, how was he able to follow through on the warning that Nanako would be thrown in the TV? If he does control it, why would he say he had nothing to do with the others being thrown in?

Posted by SpunkyHePanda
@PipeAndSlippers: It's never explicitly stated, but I believe Adachi knew it was Nanako on the Midnight Channel the first time, and dropped off the warning letter knowing it would get you and Dojima out of the house and give Namatame the opportunity to kidnap her. Everything else will be revealed later.
Edited by PipeAndSlippers
@SpunkyHePanda: I dont know, that means his warning was worthless though, Nanako would get thrown in if the Investigation Team backed off or not.  I'd be surprised if the game doesn't explain this in some way.
Posted by Expletive

The whole "bitch" discussion was brilliant

Posted by MoTheHawk
@PipeAndSlippers: He means that Namatame wouldn't have even had the chance to kidnap Nanako unless she was alone.  Remember how a delivery man came to the Dojima house the day before Nanako's kidnapping?  That was Namatame.  But he backed off that day because he knew he couldn't get away with kidnapping her right in front of Charlie's face.  Adachi, presumably knowing that Nanako would be Namatame's next target after she appeared on the Midnight Channel, wrote the letter to give Namatame that opportunity.
Posted by PipeAndSlippers
@MoTheHawk: Yeah, I don't know how Charlie reacting to the warning letter would affect Namatame's drive to throw to Nanako into the TV, who by this time, is completely assured that he is doing the right thing.  I don't have a problem with the game not explaining it, but it does seem like a bit of a plot hole.

The question about who controls Midnight channel is only answered in the True Ending.Knowing Adachi as a culprit is not enough to get the True Ending.

 Creepy raper guy!
Jeff @ 24:04 "thats right, anti-bitch!! patrol!!" lol great line.

I am with Vinny,  Adachi's creepy and psychotic looking faces are great. Even when I found out the truth about him I was still surprised how two-faced he was.

Edited by SpunkyHePanda
@PipeAndSlippers: The warning was an empty threat. Adachi knew Dojima would react the way he did. The ONLY purpose the warning letter served was to get Charlie and Dojima out of the house. Namatame didn't know anything about the warning letter. It didn't affect Namatame's drive. Namatame could not have gotten away with kidnapping Nanako while Charlie or Dojima were there, it's as simple as that. He would have failed to throw her into the TV, he would have been arrested, and as far as he was concerned, Nanako would have been murdered, so he needed to kidnap her when she was alone.

"You gotta be shitting me!"
Me too. I understand that Adachi as the true killer is a totally logical conclusion, but it still smacks of "The butler did it!" He was so far into the periphery that this plot development, and his motives, just don't ring true. It's like it's not diabolical enough, especially for a JRPG with such opportunity to be way over the top. Kinda unsatisfying. I hope this grows to something bigger.

Posted by spilledmilkfactory

the fuck?? while i understand that them bitches must be put in their place, this whole plot twist doesn't exactly seem genuine. it kind of feels like a cop-out.

Posted by SpunkyHePanda
@TobyD81: I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. Adachi only appeared to be in the periphery. That was his plan. He showed up at key moments to manipulate the investigation team, while making it appear that they were in control. I think the best example of this is how he pushes them into nearly killing Namatame. He was the one who pointed out Namatame was the delivery man. He was the one who told them the police wouldn't be able to convict him. And he was the one who showed up as soon as Nanako died to let them know where Namatame's room was.

As for his motives, there's a lot that's left to the imagination, and I don't mean that in a bad way. He clearly has a deep-set hatred of women but you're not going to get a detailed back story on his relationship with his mother or anything like that. One of the commenters was annoyed that his motive was "because it was fun." That's a huge oversimplification. Anyway, you'll get a better understanding of his motives throughout the upcoming dungeon and maybe see how great and complex a character he is.

@FrankCanada97:

Point well taken. Comment deleted, though I doubt they read this far down anyway.

I think their thoughts of an evil Adachi manifested because of the TV world. Same case for Namatame on TV

Meh, felt kind of anti-climactic. 'It was fun' just seemed like a pretty crap motivation to be behind everything. Hope it gets developed.
