Brad's constant dismissal of DS9 and anything DS9 related while at the same time asking basic questions about it and admitting he knows pretty much nothing about the series makes me think of Brad as the kid in school always agreeing with the others kids to look cool without actually knowing what he's talking about.
Impromtu Alien Dance Party!!!
That's the name of my new band.
Dancing scene is awesome!
Also, the outro is now my ringtone. YEAH!
Where is set phasers to fun part 1
DS9 is awesome! Repent! REPENT!!!
That outro almost blew my speakers up. And also, my mind.
Great dance party. Bahahaha, "SPACE CONGA!" in the chat at 39:44.\
Also: That last battle was awesome. The song was hilarious.
Dave is right and Ryan and Jeff are wrong. DS9 was awesome because one episode lead to another like a actual series with a long arcing story line. The Dominion War was exciting unlike most non-Borg TNG episodes.
The beta is ending, but it looks fun however still not for me. I'm waiting for Star Wars in 2011.
No, all characters got wiped when the Beta ended. I believe you could have saved your costume if you went to the Tailor and done so. Will find out soon(though not soon enough).
" Do you keep your beta character if you commit to buying the actual game subscription? "
Now that is how you end a beta.
Jeff sounded like a true tactical officer.
You guys are awesome.
So rad, great sendoff to this miniseries. This just reminds me of how badly I want another full-blown Endurance Run.
Set Phasers to Fun has been great! All the episodes were definitely very entertainig & I hope you guys maybe continue this with the full game. Or just do something similar for a different game. Anyway, fantastic STO coverage!
Awesome as always guys, although i skipped a little of the DS9 spoiler sections as i am watching the series for the first time now, (only up to season 3)
It is infuriating to watch someone else play an MMO, but I've strangely enjoyed this.
Now I need to watch this in the future and scream.
Best ending ever
Fuck you asswhipes.
Except the last few seasons DS9 was fucking awesome.
Am I the only one who is turned off by the way planetary systems are displayed like bad 3rd grade astronomy models.
" GB should do this all the time. Pick some mmo, play it everyday on air for like an hour and make it another endurance run. You know we're not watching this for the gameplay, we're watching for the commentary. "agreed

The end-of-beta event was a spawn-campers dream, I must say.
I use the time to type something on fleet chat, the space combat is a little too intense to really not have your hand mashing the arrow keys, number keys, the 'e' key and both mouse buttons at the same time. It looks slow, but in my experience the griffons in WoW are a lot worse, you appreciate the breather here.
" I had my volume all turned up and my mom came in to my room and told me to shut the hell up when they started singing at the end. This was one of the best things ever on Giantbomb, but it did not convince me to buy the game. We have to keep in mind that flying through space for 2 minutes and doing nothing is going to be a lot less fun without 2 people talking to us the whole time. "
How does this differ from PSN Home?

fantastic ending, YES!
" That was a great outro. "
Come to Quark's, Quark's is fun!
That was a great outro.
Is that DAVE?!?
Amazon has a deal where you get the standard version for $47, $10off your next video game purchase, early access to the game 1/29, and a Borg Bridge Officer. I think this is the way to go.
I am completely on Dave's side when it comes to Deep Space Nine.
Although I grew up watching the original series - and it is my most beloved, I thought that Deep Space Nine was the best, when it comes to writing.
Like probably all of us, who are not die-hard Trekkies, I have to re-evaluate my memory by watching all the Star Trek again ... or maybe not, cuz it would take years?
Do you keep your beta character if you commit to buying the actual game subscription?
Greatest ending ever.
I bought a lifetime subscription. I have a feeling this game is gonna soar.
Ahh and there he goes out into the stars, our brave Seabiscuit. Frigth Tunoku Babby will live on in our hearts. I have watched all of the videos and really enjoyed watching Brad and Jeff fight with the bugs, unintuitive menu system and Brad's refusal to read any text whatsoever.
It remains to be seen whether Star Trek Online will have the momentum to become a fraction as popular as WOW but from watching these videos I really want to try it out for myself. Hopefully I will get the chance to try it and maybe even see a USS Duder out there pulling a Brad.
After watching this series plus having played a few hours on a friend's beta-account, I broke down and preordered. Look, it better be good! :)
"No we have to fly there"....
"Oh :( "
Thanks for these videos, I laughed so hard when I saw my USS Steakhouse featured in yesterday's video, also trying to get into the klingon world before the beta ended. Never noticed that the Duder was RIGHT BEHIND ME the whole time! :(
