Wow, they used the Screaming Skull poster for the El Passo De La Meurta

Watching this kind of makes me feel like this and Saints Row the Third occupy the same universe.

I've been trying to hunt this game down at Gamestop since I saw it was only 5 bucks...it still bugs me I don't have it 1000/1000. It was probably the best Launch Title for 360 in hindsight, although I never owned it, just rented it from GameFly at the time. This Quick Look has only intensified my hunt...if only 2K would try and make an Amped 4 in the same style as this game. Oh well, I guess that's what SSX is for.

This is possibly the greatest QL of all time.

I still quote this game to this day.  And I argue that it's not bad gameplay wise.  Weird in comparison to other snowboarding games, but I still had fun with it in terms of the actual game.

Dude, I bought and beat this game because of this video. I didn't really like it, other than the stupidly amazing cutscenes. It's okay, but it's really nothing special.

You know it's funny, I played this game when it came out and I think I was too young to fully 'get' it, looking back on it now though... so good.

Oh man, this game looks so ridiculous. Awesome.

They used Hero Quest tiles for that Adventure Quest part, awesome.

Man now I feel really bad for skipping out on Amped 3.  The first two were so bland and boring compared to SSX but this one actually looks like it had a soul.

I was one of the lucky guys to work on Amped 3 at Indie Built.   I just spent the last hour laughing and wiping away tears.  And all of the positive comments have made my day.  I imagine it's like what a teacher feels after one of their students comes to visit years later and says "you changed my life"...like that, except, you know, it was a video game, and you played it one time and liked it...

BTW.  2K Games (who owned Indie Built) is led by heartless men who worked us to death for Amped3 and then kicked us to the curb after the game was done.

...That was great. I loved the comet/asteroid/meteor at the end.

Anyone else notice how Jeff and Ryan both seem to be very good at making custom characters? I can never think of anything fitting or clever when it comes to that.

This game seems like one that I will now buy.  Fortunately, the Gamestop near me has a copy available.  May pick it up and some other cheap games tonight.
 
EDIT: I did pick it up and also bought the first GRAW.  Both are pretty sweet.

It was so weird hearing The Rocket Summer in the background when you started playing.  I've actually seen that guy before he's pretty crazy.  I need to go get this game, it's gotta be mad cheap by now.

I love this game so much.  This was probably my most satisfying game to get all 1000 achievement points in.
