Looks interesting. I've enjoyed the initial trailers to all the games. Good music choices and weird surreal vibe to them. I'm sure I'll buy it... I've pretty much commited to the series at this point.
Calling it now, Dom is sullen and asking "whats the point" for the whole game. Marcus is all "aww cmon" at the end Dom sacrifices himself to save the squad and we get a dead wife reunion cut scene.
Man how do they keep making Gears of War better? Every time I think I'm done with Gears and it's video game stereotypes, they announce a sequel that looks sweet.
Although, that girl looks really out of place. And not because she's a girl. She looks like she's from a Final Fantasy game or something. Her face is way too clean compared to the battle going on around her.
1. everyone saying baird isn't there, he is. there are five people in that team, the 4 guys and a girl, who might be anya.
2. i don't see the problem with the locust uniting with the humans. i always found them likable (probably because of the multi), and it always felt like they were controlled by another force and weren't as evil as they appeared.
Read the book people. If you're interested in the story at least. Which... makes me wonder why I read it.... No, it's an ok story. I don't see how people thought this was as cool a trailer as it really is. It's just ok. And it's Dom! How can some people not see that? Stop asking if it's really him.
While there's nothing wrong with the gameplay, I can't help but feel like I'd personally enjoy these games a lot better if whoever's in charge of these trailers were the ones in charge of the actual story. That'd probably kill it for a lot of other people though, oh well.

I disagree. I doubt she has fought as long or as hard as the dudes, besides she was well protected in the first two games.
