Excited for Reach!
HALO! Also love the opening.
I would watch this, except Luke Smith annoys the shit out of me, so instead I will not. Which is a shame, because I want to see more of Reach.
I was just about to get it, but NO! Just had to become unresponsive, didn't you, damn Chrome!
LUKE!!! LOVE EM'
ooo, 10 mins. woot!
Luke Smith, him and that huge mouth of his... I can only hope of running into him online one day and crushing him :P
Wow, so Luke Smith isnt dead after all.
Nice to see Halo Reach is using the hitscan mechanic again. It works so well in the Call of Duty games.
Luke Smith is indeed an arrogant blowhard, but I'm hungry for Halo: Reach news.
Luke Smith is rad. Eff yall haters.
I like Luke Smith and his bed hair.
Good interview Brad.
Luke Smith for lyfe yo
Luke's "arrogance" is obviously facetious. Anybody's who's listened to any of the podcasts he's been on - like Out of the Game and 1up Yours - should know that he has a very dry, ironic sense of humor. If you love it as much as I do, you'll get a kick out of his Halo playing:
Luke is the man.
" I would watch this, except Luke Smith annoys the shit out of me, so instead I will not. Which is a shame, because I want to see more of Reach. "I love Luke
Did I just hear the announcer say "ill move"? Awesome.
wicked sick, that guy was cool :D
Can't wait for beta
great interview brad
OH SHOOT, LUKE SMITH, SCARAB LORD.
All hail the Scarab Lord Luke Smith.
After a thorough analysis of the video, I can say with absolute confidence that Luke Smith is wearing cotton-blend undershorts. Brad isn't.
oh dude it's lukems.
God damnit... another awesome interview from Brad.
Gotta say that was fun to watch, love interviews with Brad. Luke smith was pretty funny too.
Lol. people can't take humor apparently. Luke is awesome. For those of you who can't pick up on the obvious, he isn't being completely serious. Everything he says is just covered in dry humor.
Interesting that Luke talked about being able to differentiate armor abilities in multiplayer. Watching the Ask Me Anything video I was wondering if that was something Bungie had considered.
In Team Fortress 2's commentary mode, the developers explain how they aimed to make what class an enemy player is, and what weapon they're currently holding, obvious from a distance. The primary means through which they accomplished this are the game's very varied body shapes for the nine classes. The Heavy is the big guy, the Scout is skinny, etc. Every class can be immediately identified based on a silhouette alone.
What I wonder is if you can translate that idea as easy in a game like Halo, where everyone is kind of a samey space marine or space alien. Luke noted that seeing an enemy with Sprint will be easy enough, and that the Commando (?) classes will have visible jetpacks, but will that be enough to accomplish the distinction they might want?
love you lukee
" Good interview Brad. Luke Smith for lyfe yo "Props to both, this guy is a perfect interview. I laughed at how much better he looks in this video then in the ViDocs though xD
Cool interview, I love Luke.
Scarab Lord !!
Nice. Thanks for the link
Less than a week now until some sweet Reach lovin!
OMG Luke without a beard!!!
Luke Smith, have my babies! <3
is it just me, or does is it seem like this guy's basically saying, "elites are way better than spartans"? I mean, seriously, it seems like the balancing between elites and spartans is completely fucked. They move faster, completely regen health, AND regen shields faster than spartans...meanwhile spartans are sluggishly walking around, picking up fucking health packs.
Luke Smith, Man amongst men.
" Lol. people can't take humor apparently. Luke is awesome. For those of you who can't pick up on the obvious, he isn't being completely serious. Everything he says is just covered in dry humor. "Is everyone becoming more retarded daily? We get it, yo - we don't find it funny.
Man i'm pumped for this beta
Edit: Just had to end on the triple kill eh
luke smith is still a douchebag.
Dude seems to enjoy his work.
I think this will be the first Halo I buy since Halo 2. I love that it reminds me so much of Halo Combat Evolved, but with extra awesome new shit.
