Unfair! Brad and Ryan got the infinite machine gun from a tip off whilst Jeff and Vinny didn't. And the Super Persona Brothers would have gotten whatever the other spiritual map has a day before Brad and Ryan but their game froze. I call dirty pool! This is obviously a conspiracy against Jeff and Vinny and if they don't take the lead soon... the people I made wager with are gonna break my leg! Oh man... I knew I shouldn't have told them I have a gold platted copy of Techmo Pro Wrestling...

You don't honestly believe team VJ or Brad suddenly ''stumbled'' upon the ISMG or how Brad suddenly became very insistent to get to George's house? Or how Vinny suddenly said ''I know the Ice Axe would bring her down faster but-'' this ER episode, after people told them the wallcrawlers could have been taken down by melee weapons.
Besides, Vinny has stated multiple times during the previous ER that he didn't mind gameplay hints and tips. They probably wouldn't have made it past Persona 4 without the comment section.

I doubt that. Okay, they might have only gotten the bad or good ending by themselves, but the game's difficulty isn't that harsh that they'd be stuck on a boss.
Heh, Keith's story time loses a bit of punch when you talk to him behind the counter. Also, now Ryan's making fun of Brad as much as he's making fun of the game. I give them two more weeks before they kill each other or quit. Heh heh.
To be honest, I'm pretty sure the game would have ended for them on the Yukiko boss. They followed the fusion combinations in the comment section for basically every boss. Hell, I think the only fusion they made by themself was in the Nanako dungeon(Garuda)

This is simply untrue. A lot of people consider Persona 4 to be a difficult game, but if you understand the game mechanics its not that hard. The thing is: they never figured out fusing. They struggeled with basic JRPG mechanics let alone the finer points of the fusing system, had the commenters not helpfully pointed out(for instance) that having a red wall could make that boss battle way easier:
they would have been defeated by Shadow Yukiko over and over again.
Really Brad? It's ridiculously obvious that you have read ahead of your position in the game. And your constantly defending yourself or trying to justify the fact that you generally suck at games. It's officially to irritating to watch.
@mutha3: They understood the fusion enough to get persona like Black Frost that carried them through most of the game. I think you're mistaking their constantly making fun of themselves for actual ignorance. Most of the fusions they got was from randomly picking a few Persona and fusing until they got something with the spells they wanted.

Not true.
Not only where they continuesly urged to fuse Black Frost in the comments, they also didn't have the proper fusion materials for it and needed people to tell them how to fuse someone required for Black Frost.
Without the comment section, they probably would have never bothered with that. They also needed the comments to tell them to use debuffs/buffs, urge them to use physical attacks and tell them where to get special items.

These 6 Persona's carried them through 70% of the game, because, they are pretty much the best ones. The only place where they did anything by themselfs was the Rise dungeon and the Nanako one. We all know how those episodes turned(IE: 90 minutes and death respectively)

There is a very comprehensive fusion tutorial right there in the fusion menu which they never clicked on because: ''LOL WE DON'T NEED THIS'' 5 episodes later:''THEY DONT EXPLAIN FUSION''

And when they were fusing Black Frost they looked up a guide to fuse the one persona they didn't have. Saying the comments is the only reason they fused Black Frost and some of those others is crazy. It basically pops up by itself in those seperate menus telling you what you need, no one would ignore that if they had the right Personas.

Way to soil the meaning of the Dual Endurance Run Brad, The point is to see more of a game that has many branching paths. If your just going to follow VJ because their better, I'm going only with VJ from now on.

ZOMG!!!! They are lazy when they play a video game? What a crime!!!! Don't they know that this is such serious business?
Who cares how they go about doing side quests or how they fuse? Let them just play the game and if they read the comments and do stuff that is suggested then so be it.
Just keep watching ER because it is entertaining, if I need a walkthrough or somebody who doesn't "blow at the game" then I will watch youtube. I have always loved people who say "they are playing the game wrong" like it really matters how they play when what is more important is the shared experience of watching this interesting video game and Giantbomb's impromptu reactions to it.
@Haru48: Each Endurance Run team has no idea where the other is in the game or what the other is doing. Brad has no idea that he has the same gun as Vinny. Besides he has a gun with unlmited ammo, the BR Endurance Run will get better now that he does not have to worry about reloading as much.
There's no rules about looking in the comments, people. Jeff and Vinny did it all the time during the Persona 4 endurance run. Besides, the infinite SMG will make the other world sections much more bearable for them and us.

Spirit Map B's story time with Keith wasn't as bad as A's angle for BR, but still not as good as when you're standing. K-Man is alright as a character.

Also, yeah it is an issue when do stuff like this. It gives boring, obnoxious video of a guy staring at a map for 30 minutes or whining about stuff which isn't the game's fault.
Now that they have a radio and the infinite SMG we never have to see brad shooting at wooden crates with a handgun for 40 seconds every time he encouters one, or spend 3/4th of a video looking at a map.
