Watching Brad trying to stifle his growing enjoyment for this game is awesome!

I look in to the finance box just to check my status....
i look in the microscope, i see Golgi Apparatus

only time i'd be able to make that reference during an endurance run.....

Dr. Brad and Dr. Ryan are on the case!

I never thought about exactly what a bump on the head was, and now that I know what it is I am determined to never bump my head again.

Medical quiz certainly reminded me why I dropped biology A level (I was awesome at dissecting shit though).

 DUDES!

DUDES?!

Ribosome?!?!?! I have no words. That question was definitely common knowledge. The encephalitis/encephalopathy tells you the answer has something to do with the brain since encephalon=brain. And 'pathy' is a suffix for disease. The open wound and virus/bacteria one are irrelevant.

And that shock one too...

I'll stop now. We still love you.

I wonder if the blue dress is going to have any stains. It was prom after all.

no it's not. it is in fact german.

Damn it!  Both VJ and BR totally ignored the other doors in Sallie's house!  It's driving me crazy - the key is probably in that one just beside the front door or something.  Gah.

Interesting that VJ is ahead of BR now after having been so far behind before.

None of those things are common knowledge.  I guessed on the DNA one that the answer was nucleus, but only because nucleus made me think core, and it seemed plausible that DNA would be gotten from the most core part of the cell.

I think you just know more about biology and medical terms than you think you do.

Not a lot of story, but got a good amount of side missions done.

I think I saw a fanny-pack icon in the Side tab of the toolbox.

Can't believe they didn't even know what the fuck shock is.

Posted by RolexDPracer

Oh snap! I knew Nick was guilty of something. I'm still in the 2nd chapter. :P

Hey I know that word. My dad totally died of encephalopathy. It sounds like it should be a technical death metal band with a focus on gore/medical lyrics.

Is that Sallie's house or Quint's house? I'm so confused!
Also, I was screaming 'NUCLEUS!' at the screen. XD

Posted by jkz

Hell yeah! The two ERs are running just about in tandem now.

A FANNY PACK?! lol :D

Nope.  Total butter-face.  She frightens me more than the zombies in this game.

Oh comon guys, it so the nucleus

Buying meds, shit just got real.

*giglles*  "Fanny Pack "

And that was like the easiest question they got lmao.

i totally had the shock question right. and i was ecstatic that they got that letter to Nick. when i played, i ended up losing my chance to get that letter to him and all i wanted to do was get the letter to Nick

Man, this episode just makes me sad. They are catching up to the point where I was when my 360 broke (again, and for the last time) and even talking about quests I haven't done.

Also, Brad is the Karl Pilkington of gaming. He seems to have the same attention span and memory retention, at least - though Brad has slightly superior common sense. :)

Oh man, I love the "Question #!" sound effect in the medical quiz. And the way York snaps his fingers. Also, "Well now you're a poor winner, bitch." I didn't know the very first one (well, I knew it wasn't DNA, obviously) and that weird German book one, but the others were kinda easy for me. Nucleus one was easy imo, though the one before it blew right past me.

"Here, take Spiritual Map B and fuck off." Bwahahaha.

Good episode.

I'm starting to wonder if they purposefully made the women models looks horrendous except for Emily's as a subtle joke or something :P

I bet it's super slow and the weapon takes up 3/4 of the fucking screen when in targeting mode. "
The shovel takes a 1/4th of the screen at best.

Not only that, but it has amazing reach and kills most enemies in one hit.  The infinite laser sword is that but without the sword taking a  1/4th of the screen.

I was joking. I know this game is serious business, but come on.

Just so you guys know, shock is a serious circulatory condition usually caused by blood loss. You know how on medical shows they say that someone is "going into shock" after a serious injury? Well, that doesn't mean that they're a little surprised and upset about being stabbed.

Trying to catch back up with the current episodes is becoming a real chore and it's got me thinking of a couple of suggestions for the future:

1. If you're going to do dual ERs, maybe stagger the days. One day VJ, the next day BR. That way there isn't such a bottle neck and the two teams wouldn't have to play 5 days in a row.

2. Shorten the episodes. 30 minutes seems just about right for a game like DP. The hour plus episodes are borderline torture.

Take it or leave it, but once I've fallen behind, this ER really has been a quest for endurance. Maybe my playing the game too was the wrong tactic to take. It's like magnifying the torture by 5 (2 ERS and currently on my 3rd playthru).

This is why you watch only one of em, wait a couple months, and watch the other. Or, ya know, stagger it yourself. They aren't live. Hopefully over the recent months you've managed to grasp that concept. You sound like one the the staff complaining about how you obviously HAVE to do the "best" move in a game, because choosing to play with variety even though it makes the game better and more interesting totally isn't an option. I found that watching on of the two all the way through as they put em out worked well, and I'e waited so long that the details are totally gone. Plus its really interesting all the differences between the two endurance runs, they seem to get the opposite ends of the game.

This part of the game with the Quiz has been far the most entertaining episode of either ER in a long time.
