Nice.
Oh god, I was just wondering when this was going up, I have some sort of freaky ability to know these thing..
It is a neat idea but to be honest the 2600 and Intellivision kinda sucked ass. They need more late 80's and early 90's Arcade games and maybe some legal pinball emulators before I get interested.
I've been eagerly awaiting this QL since...well yesterday. The games this week are total shit.
"Here! Get in my spaceship! Now die!"
That sounds like a "don't accept rides from strangers in space" story if I ever heard one. Ah, game room. You're one expensive history lesson.
How in God's name did neither Jeff or Brad notice the big floating circle with F for FUEL written on it as Jeff was running out of fuel :/ oh well...Game Room continues to disappoint, woo.
Game Room is awesome, but the games they keep releasing for it? Not so much. Get new partners already!
these are my favorite quick looks, i like to watch the whole game room story unfold
these are basiclly games that few people would buy alone on xbox live in such if a game was worth selling e.g. remake or selling for $10 plus in such what new hardware outside of nintendo and sega during this period would they use?
I've really been looking for something to make me want to get into game room. unfortunately, none of it thus far is super appealing.
Man, they should either just kill Game Room or give someone like Sega or Capcom a huge bag of money to put their games on it.
3-D Tic Tac Toe was designed by Carol Shaw, the woman who would later program River Raid.
I wonder what the sales of Game Room are like. I envy people in the video game media who can get all this shit for free because only an Achievement Whore would pay for this.
Every week this turns from feigned interest into despondent conversation about the terribleness that Game Room has become versus the promise it once had. It's strangely compelling.
They would do good to get Midway, Capcom, and SNK games. Fighting games would be weird in game room because of lack of direct multiplayer but hell why not! They could have multiplayer enabled in classic mode where it doesn't affect your score.
What if they had Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Smash TV, Samurai Shodown, King of Fighters, Marvel vs. Capcom, Metal Slug, NBA Jam etc? Game Room would be worth it on top of the classics that are already worth playing.
