Thanks, Jeff, for saying that there are no arcade releases at the start of the video. That way I don't have to watch the whole thing, 'cause I could quite honestly give a fuck about 2600 or Intellivision games.

Did people play these games even when they were new? That hockey game looks like complete garbage now, but even back when there were ZERO alternatives, I cannot imagine playing that game for any amount of time.
Am I the only one that noticed that ,at the point of this quick look, Giantbombing had the top two spots on the leaderboard for Dolphin?
So when do we get to start the betting pool on when Game Room flat out dies?
If they couldn't justify keeping 1vs100 running, I doubt this will last much longer.
I used to play INtellivision's Ice Hockey and to through the Stanley Cup Finals with my friends. Man, such good memories.
I'd be jumping for joy if I could buy Imagic's Intellivision games in the Game Room. Activision has the rights to all of Imagic's stuff so I'd love to play INTV's versions of Demon Attack and Atlantis as well as the exclusive Imagic games on that platform.
" Dolphin music is reminiscent of Ecco the Dolphin. Also, question: Which is in worse shape right now - Game Room or Virtual Console? VC has more awesome games already on it, but they rarely put anything on the service any more - 1 or 2 games a month, TOPS. Game Room is still releasing games, but they're all terrible. "Game Room's definitely in worse shape, in my opinion. I'd much rather have the couple good emulations per month of more recent games than sloppy emulations of even older games.
"Is it just me, or was Dolphin hypnotic and kind of cool? "

i have no intentions of even booting up game room until they get some classic stuff like sega saturn mr bones and dreamcast games.
Man, although I played a lot more Nintendo than Atari... this is my childhood and I it is crazy to think I spent hours playing these games.
Holy fuck these are bad.
Who in the hell at Microsoft is the guy letting this go on. He needs to die. Now.
It is funny that GiantBomb ignores Playstation HOME content that comes every week...wierd..

"yeah but what is there left to put on VC?
As someone who played a lot of these titles on their original consoles I have never, or will ever have any desire to replay.
Eathbound. Yoshi's Island. Star Fox. Any number of Square RPGs. And that's just on the Super Nintendo. And don't forget that they recently started the Virtual Console Arcade section, and there are only like six games in there. Yeah there's a great lineup, but there's a lot they can still put on there." @nmarchan said:

So I'm a little drunk, but there were two take-aways from this quick look:
Dolphin's sound design reminded me of Rez, in that every action, power-up, or what have you had made a sound on beat.
Also, Brad and Jeff being painfully bored playing Hockey was one of the funniest quick look moments since Ryan belittling Vinny while screwing up in Wipeout.

"Yeah, the music in Dolphin has a really weird, almost interactive sound about it. Is it the first example of a dynamic soundtrack?
Is it just me or does the pitch of the background sound in Dolphin give you a clue as to where to go through the seahorses?
