Hack the Gibson.
Prince of Persia action... I'm liking it.
A Tron game could've been a visual/audio crazy town. Think 3rd person action in the style of Geometry Wars.
This looks like the absolute bare minimum in every way. No ambient noises or look about it.
I'm normally not a huge fan of Quick Look EXs, but how, HOW I ask you, can I say no to Johnny V?
I'll be honest the combat and platforming in this looks really dull. It's a shame since it seems like they're actually putting some effort into this for a movie game.
Is it just me or this gameplay look a lot like Prince of Persia ( ex. Forgotten sands) And by a lot, I mean identical? This really looks incredibly boring, and its to bad, cause i really like the style.
LOL, "You can do whatever you want"
-As long as its play in the linear series of boxes locked with doors :P
" I will play this just because its all Tronny. "Hot Tronny action 24/7.
The light cycle sound effects seemed a little weak. It didn't feel like there was any impact when he was landing those jumps.
Dosn't look bad. Ill probably never play it, unless I really like Tron Legacy
I like the art direction and graphics, but the animations look pretty bad, especially when you grab on a ledge after a jump. Not only that, but the game looks a little boring. :(
I'll probably gamefly it though.
Dude needs to stop saying massive so much. It's hard to listen to someone spew out marketing buzzwords non-stop for 35 minutes and really understand what they're talking about.
Best QLEX to date, they're usually so formal and boring, nice.
Don't think to much of the game though, sorry :/
I'm not a fan of the look of this game, but the gameplay looks alright.
I turned off when he said the word "consumer" a second time. The first I time I let it pass thinking he was being ironic but when I realised he wasn't I knew I won't be interested in this product.

Never seen Tron and I don't really have an affinity for the property, but I can't deny that the lightcycle stuff looks pretty cool.
Ahhhh Johnny, lawl. Great stuff as usual!
I wasn't at all interested in Tron until I saw this Quick Look. I appreciate the clean look of this title, straight forward.
No Jeff Bridges voice though? Boo.
This looked pretty tedious, i'll stick with Prince of Persia thank you very much :) Hope the film is better than this effort
Wow, they really ripped off Prince of Persia hard. Don't care much for this game, but their bantering is fun to listen to.
" @pbhawks45 said:Consumer sure as hell beats fans in my opinion..." @Scooper said:Yes. "" I turned off when he said the word "consumer" a second time. So it's basically Prince of Persia, but in Tron.
Well, okay. That's... that's a thing.
EDIT: Lightcycle section does look awesome though.
I like the character models and animation, but the gameplay looks repetitive as fuck and the levels look bland and uninteresting. Looks like a slightly above par movie tie in game a long the lines of that wolverine game from a year or so back.
Oh well. I guess if Tron gives you a nerd boner you might like it.
" It looks like thay know what they are doing. I mean, it seems solid and everything. But... and forgive me if this is unclear... it just seems very videogamey. Does anyone get what I mean, because I can't really describe it any better. I don't really want to play it, because it seems way too gamey. Like it isn't immersive, or maybe t seems too much like dozens of other, older games. Aside from the artstyle, which is nice. Very Tron. But I could see someone playing something like this on a Playstation 1, or maybe an original xbox. That's it! It doesn't feel very modern. That's just from looking at it here, though. I'm willing to be convinced otherwise. "it looks a game by the numbers, a cliche.
I liked Tron 2.0, I'll say first. I was also a fan of the original movie, despite its flaws. I know not a lot of people did (on both counts, but specifically I mean for Tron 2.0) but I liked some stuff they tried to do with Tron 2.0- I still play it occasionally.
I cant get over the parkour and I wish I could as that's the biggest thing that bothers me. I don't see the connection or the necessity for parkour in Tron. I'm old, though, so I cant help but look at it from that old school perspective I guess. Feels to much like a PoP rip off.
Other then that the game looks interesting but unfortunately I didn't catch any reference to the music as one big part of the original movie was the type of music they did. I have a bad feeling they will do some things right but will miss out on some aspects of what made Tron unique. I suspect the same of the movie, though.
The locations, also, look awfully drab for some reason. The upgraded suits and what not, to me, are not as neat as the original designs. I also feel if this is supposed to be more modern the Tanks and the Recognizers would have evolved more heavily. This seems to suggest its merely a aesthetic change (which I suppose is supposed to represent their higher processing power, maybe?). I don't know. I'll probably get really nit picky here, and I havent played this nor seen the movie yet, but I'm just not feeling it yet.
IDK, I'll have to wait and see.
